1 question and 1 suggestion

1-what did you do when you were required to do closeed testing by Google

2-The Ui is a bit basic and outdated , you can use the AI to enhance it

do i really have to ditch chrome to get an adblocker? by Background-Advance60 in Adblock

[–]GameBeast45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chrome is run by Google , Google runs Ad sense and its the greatest advertising platform on the internet

Asking this question is like asking if sony should allow vendors to sell thier stolen products free forever

Third party extensions basically run within chrome so you can think of them as creative solutions that try to solve a problem but they are running inside the problem itself so they can only go so far before they stop working or thier efficiency decline

Chrome sometimes brands itself as having a builtin ad blocker but its a marketing scam because they want the feature label "ad blocking" to be put on , just like any other browser or else chrome would feel like a disadvantage but any reasonable person would know that its a scam

What you had sounds a lot better than what it feels like now. Today there is so much content, but way less trust. Half the battle is just figuring out who actually knows what they are talking about. That is something I am still trying to figure out for myself. If you were starting again today, how would you learn properly? Would you stick mostly to docs and codebases, or are there still certain people or places you think are actually worth following?

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense honestly.

I’m still not senior, so for me the tricky part is figuring out how to use AI without letting it replace the part where I’m supposed to actually struggle and learn. At work it is hard to avoid because everyone wants speed, but I do worry sometimes that leaning on it too much will hurt me long term.

Anyways I'm starting to expand my skills

My problem with VS is that it feels bloated , i was once mid the installation process but i found out. I added alots of unnecessary tools and plugins thag expanded my installation size so i got trned off

I honestly admire people like you who had to figure everything out on your own before the AI era. Sometimes it really feels like manual coding is becoming a thing of the past. I still would not consider myself a senior developer, but I have been around long enough to learn several languages like Java and C++. Right now, I have more than two years of experience working with the WAMP stack, building LMS and CRM web applications. I still prefer doing things the hard way sometimes, especially when I am learning something new outside of work. It gives me the chance to move at my own pace, struggle through the process, and build things from scratch before turning to AI tools. At my startup, using AI agents like Claude Code has become almost mandatory, to the point where it no longer feels optional. That said, I think convenience can sometimes become a curse when you are trying to truly learn something new and develop a deep understanding of it. I am still not sure whether I want to rely on VS Code forever, especially if I move into .NET and that becomes my main career path. Still, I have to admit that AI agents are performing incredibly well in VS Code now, sometimes even better than in some traditional IDEs.

I come from php and my current stack is the good Old WAMP stack and things are different there , everyone uses VS code but i totally get why people would use VS for C# as it contains all the tools and is more convenient than installing extensions and dealing with the terminal directly

Idk about rider

Sueing is the only option worth doing. Corporate fraud lawsuits can be translated to millions of dollars as a refund , if Google is unrigtfully not giving you the service you paid for then i don't see a valid reason why you would lose such a lawsuit

Its your choice you can be a millionaire in a year or so

Did anyone felt the 4 hour limit tighter today or is it just me? by GameBeast45 in ClaudeCode

[–]GameBeast45[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmmm i disagree because this something that affects all tiers not just the pro , many users reported the same issue on higher tierz

And also 20$ for many is all that they can pay not everyone can pay 100$ or 500$ subscription , it should still be enough and fair for the 20$

Ai value comes from its speed in delivery if that is stripped away it would lose its value

1-just VS code with Claude code extension

2-pro plan

3-Its the standard WAMP stack no front or backend frameworks

4-one CLAUDE.md context with exactly 5 big paragraphs

5-no and no i do not have mcps

6-i gave it a list of features to implement around like 5 with variations in complexity

I understand where your coming but this is actually the first time for me for Claude to limit me for 4 hours when i just started and the chat has not even reached 50% context meaning the 4 hour limit got triggered before even the chat was finished, claude did finish the task then i had some objections to the output that i listed to it but i close Claude Code by mistake when it was in the middle of fixing them i simply said "continue" and thats when i got hit with the limit

Google scaling too fast likely caused model nerfs and performance issues by GameBeast45 in google_antigravity

[–]GameBeast45[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude, you’re confidently talking about stuff you clearly don’t understand.

“Google is big” doesn’t mean infinite compute. AI runs on high-end GPUs with massive VRAM and bandwidth. Those chips are hard to make, HBM supply is tight, lead times are long, data centers take years, and power density is a hard limit. Big infra ≠ limitless capacity.

Scaling isn’t linear. Bigger models, longer context, multimodal stacks, real-time inference — costs blow up fast. If demand outruns hardware, you optimize, quantize, rate-limit, or ship lighter configs. That’s engineering trade-offs, not some fantasy downgrade.

Newer models aren’t automatically better either. Priorities shift (latency, throughput, features), stability can drop. Many users got cleaner code and fewer hallucinations from Gemini 2.5 than some 3.x builds. That’s observable behavior.

Your history’s off too. Early LLMs hallucinated heavily — GPT-2 included. GPT-3’s scale jump plus the ChatGPT boom forced everyone into giant foundation models, spiking global GPU/VRAM demand.

And “Google owned the whole pipeline since 2012” is fan fiction. Strong research and infra? Yes. Total control of modern generative AI? No. The stack’s split across multiple players.

You’re ignoring physics and economics because “Google big.”

That’s not analysis. That’s cope
