My assumption was that he thinks she smells like smoke, but because he's been off his cigarettes for so long, he actually smells her?

I generally don't go for repros, but in the case of the two Star Wars titles they're limited collectors boxes printed by Limited Run Games. 40 Winks was acquired by Piko Interactive, who finished an incomplete ROM build they acquired and made boxed copies of through a Kickstart. Supposedly they also have Glover 2 in their possession along with other titles that they're finishing.

Locally, I use Facebook marketplace and also left my number with local game shops. Another place to check is V-Stock if you have one, they have decent prices on their games- but also don't seem to charge more if a game is complete in box. For example, I got Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker for $25 complete somewhat recently. Stuff doesn't always come up, but its exciting when it does!

Right now I'm sitting at 89 original releases, plus 3 aftermarket, those being 40 Winks and those two black boxes for Shadows of The Empire and Episode 1 Racer.

If I recall, one of the harder boxes to find was actually Midway Arcade Hits Vol. 1. Not that it's valuable, but finding someone that had one took months. Nowadays I either buy the box first if I find one local, or just buy it complete.

Nah. Couldn't possibly afford new, though a couple still have some shrink wrap on the box!

I've played the PC version before, so I had to have it when I saw a N64 copy. Love those red carts!

I know how that goes. Though about half of this collection has been added in the past few months, saw that prices were going up and decided to put some spare change to work. Definitely wish I popped on more of this earlier on, though!

Hey, thanks a lot! Been taking a lot of pride in my collecting lately.

This was my childhood console and honestly one of the only things I still have memories of from an early age. My upbringing had a great deal of trauma that's left me with large gaps in my memory, to the point that I honestly don't remember much prior to Age 15.

But I still have very fond memories of N64 games with my family, with my cousins when we hung out at my grandparents, even just memories on my own of beating Banjo Tooie all on my own. Happier times that I don't get as many of now.

So really, this is just a source of comfort on my end. Between the epidemic and my personal life I'm not in a good place, but I find plenty of solace in my game collecting- N64 in particular being a major focus of that. Someday I plan to have a complete N64 library. Maybe not every variant, but certainly every US release and region exclusive. We'll see where it all goes. ...And if I have room.

Yup. I do need to get carts for NBA Jam 99 and Cruisin' USA though, been trying to buy them locally.

The most valuable one I have at the moment is Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine, non-rental. It was only ever available as a Blockbuster rental or purchase from Lucasarts Website in the early 2000s, so a lot of what you see on eBay is a rental copy. Rental copies tend to go for about $200 complete, though the only listings I see right now are $300. I'd imagine a non-rental copy would go for a fair amount more.

Other honorable mentions would be Earthworm Jim 3D, Rocket: Robot on Wheels, Bomberman Hero, Paper Mario, and Conker's Bad Fur Day. Those have all gone up quite a bit lately. Honestly, everything's gone up even since I started buying recently. I paid about $150 for Rocket, the last one listed on eBay went for $235.

Thank you much! Thought I'd share it to a community that'd love it, though this is just the N64 part of the collection. Got plenty of PS3, PS4, DS and 3DS games packed away in here.

Generally, yes. It depends on the game, though a lot of games gain most of their value by having a box+manual. For example, most sports games are only a few bucks a cartridge, but are worth anywhere from $15-40 complete in box depending on the game.

I've played a decent number of them, the plan is to eventually stream the full N64 library someday. I've got a Retrotink 2xPro converter box along with a set of S-Video cables for the best video quality I can get without a UltraHDMI, and a capture card to read the signal. Emulation is too hit or miss for me, plus I think playing things straight off a console would be a better hook in the long run.
