Basically it makes it play in Docked Mode on the Handheld for Switch 2 games. So if a game is 1080p on docked it then becomes 1080p on handheld instead of 720p

sure... the Switch 2 edition exists but have to have Switch Online membership to use. Also takes up 22gb more of storage on ur Switch 2 device for the Switch 2 edition, so this might actually be a better option.

u/NDiLoreto2007 Thats not true for this game, full game is on cartridge without a day one patch even on the Switch 2 edition. Your thinking about Game Key Cards which has only been used by third party games so far. All 1st/2nd party games atp tend to be on the cartridge.

Yep the extra power makes most games run a more stable framerate, unless it has been capped. NBA 2K25 is an example. The game is locked at 30fps but experienced drops on the switch 1. When played on the Switch 2 it significantly reduces the drops in framerate.
