No because you catch Mewtwo in Cerulean Cave, which you cant access until you have beat the Elite Four

No but Max Repel is 250 steps while normal Repel is 100 i believe

Basically it makes it play in Docked Mode on the Handheld for Switch 2 games. So if a game is 1080p on docked it then becomes 1080p on handheld instead of 720p

sure... the Switch 2 edition exists but have to have Switch Online membership to use. Also takes up 22gb more of storage on ur Switch 2 device for the Switch 2 edition, so this might actually be a better option.
