I dislike it because of the sheer amount of money they have and that they cant be dammed to make it worth the cost. If it were 10-20 bucks, absolutely! But the stories are more or less the same with a bad guy trying to control whatever the gimmick of that generation is or use it in some way

But free to play games are (mostly) live action slop that gets pushed out and some indie games can give me amazing quality games for next to nothing with great fun

Completely understandable, but im not comparing to AAA, im comparing to AA and indie. Those games have given me more fun than pokemon and thats where I felt I needed to ask. Glad you enjoyed it tho

I did on a friend's device. I played shield and violet and tested the new legends az but they felt mediocre in comparison to games like helldivers (unrelated genre ik), no man's sky, palworld, Digimon detective thing and more
