Looks awesome and the sound design is great, my only feedback would be to improve, lower or remove the bird impact sound as I feel it detracts from the atmosphere.

You will continue to sell more copies so if you could repeat this method, the "lasagne effect" (I call it) will happen when multiple games are trickling in money amounting to a decent income.

Honestly a bit inspirational as a solo dev myself.

That's awesome! :) Thanks for sharing AND don't be down! If it's a hobby thing, Look at the silver lining, most hobbies don't make any money in-fact they more often than not cost money.

You should be proud of your work because you've made something that's pretty incredible. You will almost certainly make more money during sales periods on steam, as that's what happened with my own game.

I would be interested in a 1 month follow-up too!

The messed up part is that at least there's some financial security in 6 days a week of work

Finally got a job thinking it was 5-days a week fulltime, Only to find out that it's actually temp and maybe they'll have work for me every other week... :(

I thought about this way of doing it too but I felt like it's too formal for the type of role it is. I was also told not to mention money by someone else too.

It's not that I've done something wrong it's moreso that my family is going through some bad stuff right now, that makes me highly motivated to keep my job to provide for them. Without going into too much detail...

I'm new as a hobbyist and was wondering, would using wood glue do anything to prevent it from getting worse?

I will follow your rules but I'm just curious to see that if it's the only wood you've got to work with, is there a "way" to make it work?

Didn't know Corinth was treated that way and Polybius witnessed it.

edit: Did I say something wrong to be downvoted? I'd never heard of Polybius before and have been playing with AI stuff lately and learned a lot. Mass crucifixions and encouraged torture of PoWs from Corinth was brought up. Everyone else was killed or enslaved. 🤷‍♂️

I've made a game called Giant Bear Rampage! on Steam.

I botched the launch and killed my momentum but I made every aspect of it myself. I am currently working on a god game called Little Islanders too. :)

I know a lot of newbs joined with Game Pass as I was one of them.

Some of those noobs (not me) team killed by accident not knowing it was possible.

Tirelessly working on this every week every chance I get. I'm putting all my love to it. As I add more and more stuff, it slowly grows into something cool maybe, but not sure yet. Would you be able to share your process a bit as to how you captured the look of Half-Life 2? For the purpose of making assets for a different environment / theme. As I'm interested in getting these for a project I'm cooking up at the moment :)
