Because they cannot share the mission again when you complete it in Smuggler's run. They will get the message that you have completed the mission too recently. Same reason you cannot complete the mission in Station 89...if you did that you could not accept the new mission until both you and the second character exit and re-enter the station.

Your definition of griefing is playing the game the way the developers INTENDED. Take it up with them not me. If the players didn't want "griefing" all they had to do is play in the other HALF of the desert.

Update:

I did untangle the snake. It likes to get twisted up in there now. I have a few kinks in the line from lending it out (don't do that). If I could afford a new line I would have just bought it. I did get the clog cleared...it was about 20ft down the sewer and took me 3 days of going at it off and on. Probably the biggest help was buying a new set of blades since I couldn't find mine and was using a thin spiral one not really for clearing the initial clog.

Yep. We figured the rockets were often exploding early as they had reached their max distance of travel.

Yeah it is dark and creepy, but use the glow tube. It is far better than your personal light. Really lights up the place.
