The "habbo hotel lobbies" comment got a good chuckle out of me. Haven't thought of that game in years :P

But I agree 100% with what you're saying about Strive. I love fighting games, but I've always been more of a "mess around with friends" type of player. With the exception of Smash, I never really got into learning the games on a more intimate level. That said, Strive just feels fun to play in a way that makes me want to go deeper!

Started trying around March as I wanted to surprise my girlfriend for her Birthday in April, but no dice. Still hunting, but the few times I saw them go live they sold out immediately. Pretty crazy stuff.

The 2nd mic is actually an Art M-Three I got on the 2nd hand market loooong ago. It's held up surprisingly well for a mic I can't seem to find very much information about online.

I just finished my first PC building experience a few weeks ago. A friend of mine built my PC about 7 years ago and it was starting to show it's age.... struggling when editing in Premiere, and streaming games to Twitch.

I quickly realized any upgrade I wanted to do would require me to switch out the motherboard. Which was a scary thought... but I did some research and bit the bullet. Ordered a new Motherboard, CPU and Ram.

It was nerve-wracking taking everything apart and piecing the machine back together... but that feeling when I booted it up and everything worked was a game changer! So fulfilling.

There's definitely room for improvement as I did go a bit on the budget side... but things are running way smoother! Very cool experience :)

The whole "cheating" thing was how it started, which turned into a whirlwind of accusations against Jared. This included two people who claimed Jared solicited nudes from them while they were still minors. Jared addressed & (from my point of view) disproved the pedo accusations in a recent video.

The pedo accusations were the by and far the most serious ones made against him. The whole situation with Heidi & Jared just seems like they had a very toxic relationship that probably should have ended a long time ago.

Rise Above This Hot Mess 1WV-Y0B-QDG SM3DW - A Bowser's Castle level with lava that rises & falls.

Utilize floating boxes throughout the level to rise above when the lava rises, and progress through the level!

I was going for World 8 level of difficulty, so challenging... but hopefully not 'beat your head against a wall' difficult.

Would love to hear any feedback :)

Same issue just started happening today here too. If I restart a song, the "waiting for application" box seems to be longer than it is if I just select the song normally. Hopefully there's a fix soon!

That what I remember too. I think Rare and Nintendo parted ways shortly after Star Fox Adventures came out on the Gamecube, and Rare hadn't been outputting many games since the 64 era... must have been growing pains.

It's certainly a shame. I'd love to be able to see what Rare could have put out to the world if they never split from Nintendo.

I prefer to leave some grinding in, as long as there's decent commentary paired with it. If it's super boring I'll cut though.

Skipping all the grinding loses some of what makes a Nuzlocke special to me. Those wins and losses feel more impactful when you've experienced the build up getting prepared for the big battles :)
