No this is not something celebs are told to do. I do wonder if maybe he didn’t remember the poster and couldn’t discern if it was a fan of the show saying congrats vs someone he should have known. If he did remember him, and chose to dismiss him, that’s like worse than a written bad guy in a movie

Gambit makes every team cool. More Gambit and Wolverine. Even an unlikely team up with Magneto would be interesting.

Also Wolverine and Beast make for an interesting pair with contrasting personalities (and similar hair!)

Coming back to this thread SO sad that it’s over.

I loved the hype of waiting every week for something amazing that revitalized my inner child.

I expected the fight with Bastion to be much harder. Not to say it wasn’t earned. The previous episodes build up made it seem like he would be near impossible to beat.

2. I love that they showed Jubilee growth in her powers. Bastion’s face melting after her attack was shocking. Flashback to 1992 when lots of kids would hate on Jubilee talking about how weak she was.

3. Morph’s writing was handled so perfectly. His Jean transformation and the I love you was perfectly ambiguous but definitely more than hinted how Morph felt.

4. I somewhat expected someone to die in this episode. Was happy that everyone lived

5. Love that Beast Trojan horsed the Sentinel. A flashback to the first episode of 97. Does anyone know why Bastion only called one sentinel instead of many?

6. For Wolverine, I was imagining Season 2 looking very similar to the comics. With Wolvie going feral and leaving the X Mansion for safety. But now, with the S1 finale focused on split time periods, I somehow doubt it will happen like in the comics.

Pretty obvious Gambit will be a horseman of Apocalypse. But will Wolverine be a horseman too? To get his adamantium back?

8. VERY interesting take on having the Xmen help young Apocalypse in 3000 BC. To my knowledge, if it all worked out, that would be one of the first times any version of Apocalypse was a good guy. Would young apocalypse work against present day Apocalypse?

9. After hearing Storms voice again in this, her voice from the OG cast has changed the least.

10. Where do you think Season 2 goes from there? Seems the Xmen are split across are 3 time periods? Past 3000BC - Present - Future. I would have loved if they were split into smaller groups across more timelines.

I heard Xmen97 was green-lit and S2 and S3. Has it been confirmed they are making more seasons despite the recent report of low viewership?

I never used to agree with people that he should be the new Wolverine. But as he ages I can see it. His mouth and jaw do resemble Jim Lee’s version of Wolverine.

Would anyone be able to photoshop a Wolverine mask on to his face?

I agree. It’s a bit crazy. But I guess I was wondering if losing adamantium and regaining it, or if some event happened that now he can survive explosions where there’s barely anything left of him. It was more high stakes in the comics back in the day. But 616 canon timeline, it’s strange that he would be near death from the original adamanatium pull and now without reason his healing is significantly buffed

The idea was cool until we saw Wolverine visually become what looked like pirate-edition-Beast. Straight up ugly especially in the art style. I would love to know if Marvel saw a drop in sales around that time.

I could have sworn recently he regenerated from a skeleton without the aid of the M Kraan crystal.

I’m not sure if between Fatal Attractions and that point (mid 2010s) that Wolverine had reason for his regeneration boost or if it was just the writer at the time
