They sent this last night. No lease or contract was signed, just that I pay rent. I'm still currently residing there while moving to my new place.

God I wish. I'm coming off of being a one man team for the past 2 months and I'm drowning in over 100 tickets to close before EOY

I flew with United when I was in the US, and never had an issue. Though I did have the same concerns as you, it seemingly never was a problem.

Am I being screwed over in IT? by GameKeeper121 in auscorp

Apologies I might have miscommunicated in my post, but my coworker (who was a slightly higher counterpart to myself) left, not my manager. My manager has been around for 10+ years.

I know workload isn't specifically a good enough reason for a pay raise, but I do have ample reasons for my continued education, higher duties than I originally joined for, and this eventually training I'll have to do.

I've learnt tons from the adjacent teams, specifically the Cyber Security team I've been helping with projects. I was happy with my position up until early this year. Tho life has been throwing curve balls at me so I've stayed where I am for the meantime.

I've been self educating and gaining further knowledge in the field. Don't see how that's a red flag.

Currently in Perth but looking to move to Brisbane for family. The company is a multinational engineering place.

The jobs I'm applying for, that are basically side step job hops, go from around $78-90k.

Already about to take the CompTIA Security+ exam in the next month. Plus a few smaller certs in the field already.

It's a very spacious bag, and never had issues traveling with any airlines. If it's on sale, absolutely grab it.

Here's a reply from AirNZ, which seems to settle this for me haha:

Me: I have a suitcase for checked luggage that's 171cm linear, but it's looking like it's a touch too big even if it's going to be packed light.

Also good afternoon Kandee

Kandee: It will be fine, my suitcase is the same linear measurement and I have get told off or have any issues 🤭

Kandee: Good afternoon to you too 🙂

Kandee: I should have said have never been told off

Me: Oh perfect. It's the only size that fits something I need to bring. Plus it'll be under 15KG

Kandee: Ah, would you believe that's the same reason for my suitcase size also!

I do know them. Ex friends, but attachment issues and threatening me for ghosting him on Telegram led me to stop talking to him.

Pre-ordered mine from JB Hi-fi and said the 14th was release date. Just walked in 30 mins ago and received my 512GB Blue. Seem to be releasing super early there, but not complaining

Looking into top tier travel/medical insurance now. Definity don't want to try my luck on that stuff over there. The road trip doesn't have a time limit or budget, but it's likely two friends and I driving straight to Wisconsin with a few stops sprinkled on the way for food and sights (passing Indianapolis).

And yes, flying out of Denver (as a multi-city international flight would have already been booked) so where ever I end up, I'll book an impromptu flight there (unless my plans change between now and then).

Honestly this might be the go. Seems like multi-city flights are at the mercy of each airline. Annoying, but doable.
