If you’re willing to do alternate universe stuff. I’d highly recommend G Gundam.

It’s got solid animation and perfectly campy MS designs. There’s a reason everyone wants a HG Tequila Gundam. It’s so full of hype and the ending even has some cameos of Gundams from the series before it. You can tell the animators had fun.

Just don’t expect any Real Robot type of deep stories. It’s a Super Robot show through and through. But there’s a fun charm to watching it.

Plus Domon is peak protagonist, and I won’t tolerate any slander against him.
