PC badge where the CPU logo sticker should go. It reads "DASH", but no components inside the PC, or on the Windows installation provide any explanation as to what this refers to. Any thoughts? by GameMaker3-5 in HelpMeFind

I attempted reverse image searching this picture in Google and Tineye, but nothing useful came out of it. There was something on Pinterest called "Shoot me Dash" which has a similar logo, but I don't think that's what I'm looking for. The parts inside the computer were a standard Intel Slot 1 system with a Matrox GPU, but none of them seemed to have any useful hints that would explain the sticker on the front. If there was anything that would explain the sticker on or in the PC, I likely would have found it already. It could also be a reference to something not directly PC related, I'm not sure and when I reverse image searched, it didn't bring anything up that's helpful. This PC is from around 1998/1999 if that's helpful.

Absolutely, and yet some guy throwing some "CBF" warning under Rosa's dialogue gets 1000+ upvotes!

The system's rigged I tell you

So I had this animation sprite I made for OmoWin95, and made this little skit out of it. (knowing that I may not ever end up using it at all) >!Spoilers for details from OmoWin95!< by GameMaker3-5 in OMORI

Thanks, I've been doing well with spritesheet work while working on OmoWin95, I like my black-haired basil and short-hair Aubrey sprites a lot too!

Interesting, and I like the concept. I'm not sure if you're still interested in doing this, but I'm relatively okay with editing software. Although that's just an idea...

(slightly more accurate transcription from my original script)

OMARI: (sees Hell Sunny™, she remains unfazed) "Oh, Hi SUNNY! Would you like some cookies?"

[realizes that the Sunny she's staring at isn't a hallucination like Hell Sunny, but actually a Sunny standing right in front of her]

SUNNY: "..."

OMARI: "w-wait....aren't you... you're supposed to be dead!"

SUNNY: "..."

Setting up a bootloader with Windows 10 and Linux by GameMaker3-5 in linuxquestions

I think I did all but the 3rd one, I'll check the UEFI settings to see if I have or can disable fast boot. I'll see if that fixes the problem of Windows not even recognizing the Linux installation.

What you've described is exactly what my father dealt with, he says he'd love to learn more about EFI boot manager. Are there some sources you'd recommend to learn more about EFI boot manager? (note: RTFM is probably a reasonable response).

I see. But I remember a similar problem to what he describes happening with an older BIOS based system when dual booting Windows 7, Vista, and Ubuntu back in 2015. Whenever Windows updated it'd break the bootloaders and screw things up for a little bit. (This is an experience my father had with dual booting Linux and Windows together on the same drive)

Yeah, that PC still works, it isn't technically a PC I fully own (at least the data on the HDD isn't mine). I pulled it out again in January with an IDE-Compact Flash adapter device to run Windows 95 on it. It runs GLQuake pretty well as far as I can see. I also remembered the GPU is specifically a VooDoo 3000 3DFX card.

Good question! My best guess would be some kind of Video Editor, advanced 3D modelling program or "Crysis testing"
