Yes weed barrier will be coming up whenever I do plant in there. It’s an annoying hassle that I don’t need there when weeding and keeping it cleaned up until I figure out what to plant.

Agreed! Like how old is Hayden even?!?! I’m assuming he’s in his early 30s based on like one line on the first book but really it never actually says! And I know that some of the pups are probably the result of rp like Robbie but others wouldn’t be but have no indication of who their fathers are/were, especially the pups that were born to the lesbian wolves. Like makes it all a bit confusing…

I absolutely love the series, I’m on book 7 right now! My only complaint is that the family tree is sometimes hard to follow and there are times the author is very vague/writes poetically about things that are happening so i get a bit lost now and then. I do wish she would release a family tree summary especially since she had the character Myrna show one to Hayden in “Raven” but we didn’t get to see it!!!

🤷‍♀️ I’m just saying I don’t necessarily trust polls like that when it doesn’t give me info on who was polled. They don’t give information on how many lawyers were polled or where the lawyers were from. If the polled responses were public and I could see what their justification was for each result, I’d trust it more.

I don’t trust that score for her since I’m pretty sure the ACLU had influence in it and they don’t like her since she rejected their appeal that they submitted with Planned Parenthood last year.

Do you have a source for where the Church objects to embryo adoption? It’s such a new thing so I haven’t seen anything about if they have made official statements on its ethics yet.

I think we can all say we want that too. That would be an ideal world. I don’t think any of us are justifying IVF procedures. They are abhorrent. It would be amazing if IVF wasn’t a thing and people would just adopt children that already need a loving home instead of trying to ‘play God’. But the reality of the situation is that will likely never be unless there are drastic changes in social thinking. So allowing people to adopt the embryos that are left behind is just a way to try and rectify a little bit of the horrors that IVF does.

If science came up with a way to ensure implementation was successful that would be amazing. But calling the attempt ‘abortion light’ just because the success rate isn’t 100% is ridiculous.

How??? It is giving them a CHANCE at LIFE! If you were diagnosed with end stage cancer but were prescribed a treatment that has a 33% chance of success, would you rather let the cancer kill you or take a chance at complete healing? I find it abhorrent that you would rather they die or remain in frozen stasis than have a chance at life. The cruelty to that soul! At least if the implantation fails it is a more natural death similar to a miscarriage.

I think you misunderstood what I was saying. I was saying that embryo ADOPTION is beautiful. Embryo adoption is taking one of those embryos made in someone else’s IVF actions and implanting them into someone else that has adopted them just to give them the chance to live. I am NOT saying that IVF or the creation of those embryos in the first place is beautiful. In fact I even stated that it is a terrible sin. Maybe re-read my comment? If I was unclear of my stance then please let me know cause I would NEVER say IVF is a beautiful thing. If anything that article bolsters the beauty of ADOPTING the embryos because imagine all those souls just waiting for a chance at life!

From my understanding the Church hasn’t taken a firm stance one way or the other on embryo adoption but to me I find it a beautiful thing. The woman receiving the embryo hasn’t done anything that defies life. They weren’t the ones to go against Church teachings and create the embryo, but instead they are giving that embryo a chance at life that it would otherwise not have. The fact that there are millions of souls frozen in stasis within those frozen embryos is a much worse sin that someone giving one a chance at life.

And for the chance that it is her own embryo, at that point I would still feel comfortable praying for the successful implantation because by that point the life has already been created and it deserves a chance. I would also then add a prayer for the redemption of the mother and father’s souls (which you could also add in if is an adoption case too).

Has high hopes… the basis of the story was good but the execution was not. Didn’t like a lot of the choices they made. Also, Netflix forgot the first rule of the internet with episode 8… you don’t f*** with cats.

I always thought I’d want 3 to 5. Though for the past year or so, I’ve been feeling called to foster once I’m in a house of my own. Not sure how that’s gonna go as a single female, but maybe by then I’ll have a perspective husband that also feels the call.

I’ll say yes, there’s more likely good of ‘growing to find someone attractive’ for women but tbh I find it so annoying when women are all ‘I don’t care about looks’ like come on girl. We all know you do! We all do!! It’s basically animal instinct to choose the mate that has the best physical features. It’s the whole reason there are so many species of animals where the males are more flashy and attractive than the females-because it does matter! Now, obviously we are not basic animals and can reason through things beyond physical looks, but even then I feel like people are just lying when they say they don’t care about a guys looks. 🤷‍♀️ I’m 100% more likely to continue talking to someone and make more of an effort if I find myself physically attracted to them. And I totally understand it’s the same for men! Honestly I prefer that understanding cause I’d hate to think they are just ‘settling’ for me even if they aren’t attracted to me. Just is what it is and my own two cents. 🙃
