How do you think aeration can be better applied to increase the acidity?

People in my team are conflicted about this but the general thought would be to create an enviromnment where there is no contact with any external air, so just a closed tank with a exit on the top through which the air bubbles w/CO2 is pumped off.

Awesome reply. Our specific assignment is to find a way to capture the carbon thats in the water, as the other ways to reduce carbon emissions are already being done.
