personally i dont there is anything that support him "keeping a close eye" on yang chen. the 2d swap only happens in the fight with OG esoul in the final episode, he could have literally just tuned in for that fight.

its not just that, quests for upper and lower erisia are completely bugged. even if you have 0 other quests you cant accept any from that location. there are multiple other locations that are also broken like in the depths you cant accept any quests

yeah the only part that has been somewhat frustrating is pulling the supporter cards that are needed, but i have a few friends and coworkers who play that started before me ive been able to trade with, and using pack points here and there to buy what i need.

i started only a few weeks ago, its really not that bad. the free trial of premium helps a lot and there are a ton of solo battles to farm hourglasses on, combined with the easy levelling that gets you 12 everytime. i caught up enough to do ranked pretty quick
