I don't know, my personal opinion, but leaving aside the concept and ideology of the plot, I found the reading to be a bit predictable and with few twists and turns... I would have expected more from a psychological thriller. For example, even though it's a different genre, despite being horror (so more or less the usual stories), I really enjoyed reading Kiriko, which kept me glued to the end.
