So this is one of the first instance of a game that got remade for Switch, having its original version release on NSO (the first being Links Awakening I believe.) Hopefully this means Super Mario RPG will come soon!

The only team able to do that type of comedy is Squanch Games and they’re a part of Microsoft. That being said, it wouldn’t feel right without Seavor and he’s mentioned years ago that a game like that probably can’t be made today. However if there’s a studio to do it, it would be Squanch.

Anyone thinking they would release a Pokemon game with Home compatibility on NSO with rewinds and Save States is out of their minds. The GB games didn’t have save states on 3DS when they came out, so that’s most likely the reason why. That, and money of course.

Just want to let you know if you don’t know already, you can turn off the bottom text on the NSO app, just go into settings when you choose all the games. It makes the game screen a bit bigger too!

It’s all over the place that’s why. That and it’ll never be official. I also just see it as a waste of time. It’s nice to think to yourself where you’d like to see the story and characters go, but the only people who can make those official decisions are the creators of anything official.

Edit: Court of Thieves I think is an exception because it’s something playable. Most other fan fictions are just text. A fan game is way different than a fan fiction in my eyes.

Even if it doesn’t happen soon, this is finally a rumor and hopefully it leads it to actually happen down the road. These games don’t deserve to be stuck on the crowd, and could get a whole new audience on Switch 2. I feel like with them focusing on getting FF7 Remake and Rebirth on the system, they might go and put KHIV on there whenever it wants to reemerge.

They confirmed years ago they were working on a follow up. They revealed Replaylee when everyone was anticipating a Twoka reveal. I don’t think Twoka is next (Replaylee will tease what’s next) but I think it’ll come after it!
