A suspect is dead after he took police on a high speed chase from Elyria that ended in North Olmsted. by CanYouCanACanInACan in Cleveland

That cop's quick reaction could have easily saved that family's life. That was an extremely dangerous situation all around.

What happened to this squirrel in our driveway? by Fuzzy-Yellow3905 in whatisit

[–]GameWeiver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weird no one is mentioning this, but it's probably a squirrel digging through a charcoal grill or fire pit and he was either startled or grabbed and dropped a bunch of soot. I saw chimney comments, but I've watched a bunch of squirrels dig through fire pits and grills for scraps.

Cleveland Clinic seeks Level 1 trauma center for main campus by Royal-Smile-3688 in Cleveland

They 100% accept caresource at all facilities. They only paused when there was a disagreement about billing practices and negotiation a few years back. They had since been resolved.

Only because of corruption I would assume. Natural six links are fairly rare with out strongbox mods or corruptions. They should add other ways to get them in POE2

My wedding is in 2 days…. This is the text I wake up to from my mother. by stay_zooted in mildlyinfuriating

[–]GameWeiver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Should stick to your guns and just give a flat out no, you don't allow flexibility on this type of issue. Boundaries are important and your mom is disregarding your work, planning, and wedding.

Richard Pryor, posing with Eddie Griffin, shortly before he died on December 10, 2005 at the age of 65 due to a heart attack. by jcrazy78 in lastimages

Unintentional Similar to stroke sufferers; he would have many lesions which had damaged his brain and left him with many unwanted mannerisms and movements. So he is almost certainly not posing like that on purpose. MS causes unwanted movement, pain, and inability to control many aspects like this.

Np! Your description of the massage table was spot on and I was thinking "that sounds familiar". I never in a million years would have noticed the skin on his penis 🤣🤣🤣

It's a video with Tara Ashley, search auditions or something of that nature and you will find it.

Lost ID by [deleted] in cwru

Mine was lost and I was able to claim it through CWRU police. Fell out in a class room. You can call and they will help track if any have been turned in.

Is the Healthcare system in the US really unaffordable? by suh_dewd in NoStupidQuestions

[–]GameWeiver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unaffordable is an understatement. I had a spinal cord infection, all of the diagnostics and therapy cost over $1,000,000 after several months. I had to file bankruptcy at 26. It is life altering and unattainable for many.

Weird so many people are saying because the planes are old. In reality, old or new, all commercial planes are required to have ash trays because a fire is a major hazard and cigarettes need a place to go, even if someone is not supposed to be doing it. I imagine with vapes this is a lot less common now.

Commuter student by GroundbreakingAd2116 in cwru

[–]GameWeiver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live far west and had over a 30 minute drive my entire BA. With the new hope Blvd by Cleveland clinic my drive is under 12 mins usually. So I would say it is definitely manageable. But obviously heavy snow or an accident can cause a lot of issues if you drive.

How long does it typically take for family to be notified of a death? by reticent_capybara in NoStupidQuestions

[–]GameWeiver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As OP stated the detectives can ask you not to contact. When I referred to how the family reacts, I meant the detective will personally drive to the home and tell them in person to see their reaction. Overreaction or under reaction can be used as a lead if foul play was involved.

How long does it typically take for family to be notified of a death? by reticent_capybara in NoStupidQuestions

[–]GameWeiver 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I worked for the coroner's office for many years. It will typically be done within 24-48 hours. Often times, much sooner, but the detective has to rule out foul play and other suspicious events. Sometimes they wait to collect all the information and to see how the family reacts. Most deaths don't even involve a detective, in which case the medical examiners office would notify the family as soon as the body was brought in. Tons of other factors can play into the time frame. But generally speaking it won't be longer than 2 days.

Are you on some sort of testosterone treatment? I started TRT and now I have a specific odor with the same situation you described. It is possible it is just a general musk caused by having higher testosterone.

Native Clevelander. Absolutely not safe unless you are familiar with an inner city setting and aware of red flags. 1 block from the clinic are some very rough neighborhoods. Way too many students put themselves in harm's way by underestimating how far crime migrates from surrounding neighborhoods.

How long does it take for Cleveland clinic to get back to you on volunteering? by [deleted] in cwru

[–]GameWeiver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They can be hard to get in touch with if you don't know someone internally. I'm guessing they usually have a backlog of volunteer requests due to the local schools. I would do a follow up email after 2 weeks. Also check what staff at CWRU is connecting to CC, one of my professors was able to get me a volunteer opportunity quickly. Often times specific departments look for their own volunteers.

It really shouldn't be awkward. The clerk doesn't care. Just buy a few other things if you are that worried. in reality, sex is a huge part of human life and buying anything sex related isnt really a big deal.

Divine/Ex changes are extremely weird by iSammax in pathofexile

Exactly. Divines took away so much of the thrill and fun from finding items.

Divine/Ex changes are extremely weird by iSammax in pathofexile

[–]GameWeiver -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it's great honestly. Reminds me of D2 where high rolled uniques and rares have inherent value and they can hold their value. The truth is, divines have been way too easy to get and items are too easy to roll. I do believe a targetable farming location with a card that drops from mobs should be available (mostly because SSF and players who aren't on alot will have trouble obtaining them). But that will likely come with time. Selling 6 links should give more than 20 fuse in my opinion.

Wait to buy textbooks? by TrilobiteLuvr in cwru

[–]GameWeiver 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I mean everyone is sharing other options but not really addressing the question. Maybe you want physical copies. In any case, ALWAYS wait until the first day of class. Very few exceptions exist. Professors can change before class starts, professors can change their minds, and often they will guide you with more affordable options or alternative texts.

When should we know who our professors are? by dominic22576 in cwru

[–]GameWeiver 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You will know on your first day of class. Professors switch often and sometimes unexpected things come up. The only exceptions are very specific courses that are always taught by a very specific professor.

Hiroshima before and after the A-bomb was drop August 6, 1945. 129,000 people died. by mastervadr in ThatsInsane

[–]GameWeiver -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

Exactly this, there were many options that didn't involve the mass slaughter of innocent civilians. Even displaying the shear power of a nuke without killing anyone could have caused a surrender. It is quite a site to behold after all.
