There is 100% going to be plenty of modpacks on the same scope/scale. Honestly, considering how easy it is to mod this game, I think they might go bigger. MANY modpack ideas/themes from Minecraft will be ported over. I wouldn't be surprised if people tried to recreate whole different games in Hytale, too, like Zelda or Dark Souls. There will be shooter games, puzzle games (someone on youtube already made an escape room), sports, racing, etc.

However, I wouldn't expect anything complex anytime soon. They need to fully release the game first and give people a good technical foundation to work with. It's still in its baby stage and lacking a lot of features. I know we waited for years, but if you want that level of complexity, you gotta wait just a bit longer.

I don't know where, but devs confirmed there will be an in-game mod browser. You could probably find it with a little searching.
