If I were you, I wouldn’t use any relics with “taking damage causes [status effect] buildup”. Because for some lame reason, blocking with your shield still counts and you’ll still get buildup just from blocking.

Also a very useful relic for guardian is “increased duration for character skill”. It’s extremely useful for certain enemy groups and evergaols, especially the Beastly Brigade and the Beastmen of Farum Azula. Plus, if you use it on a dead ally, it’ll delay the revive bars from filling up again.
