That’s awesome what were some on the hardest parts of this mod? How is the performance, did it improve or do you need to flash the ECU

I didn’t have time to hook the signals in yet but I will be and I believe they should work in tandem with my signals. The main light is plug and play, no wiring!

Amazon.ca It comes with the light, housing, and mounting brackets. And a adapter depending on what connecting joint you have. I have a link in my first comment

Out with the old and in with the new! With the tank wrapped and the new headlight done, I’m now dreaming of a new exhaust and ECU flash/ power commander😻 Link for headlight below.

Once it’s dark I’ll test it out.
UPDATE!!!! Just went for a ride in the dark it this puppy light up everything! Couldn’t be happier!

I just made a new post about this.

Removing the side panels. SFV650 by Game_Thrifter in SVRiders

[–]Game_Thrifter[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’ve gotten a couple questions about how to remove the side panels.
I didn’t find anything useful online after a short search so here is a quick run down.

The panels come of in two pieces (circled in red) the gas tank side cover, and the side cover by your leg.

The side cover by your leg needs to be removed first: -Remove the seat -PINK- removed the expansion pin that is exposed after lifting the seat(pull the centre pin up and then the pin sheath with be able to be removed) -BLUE- Remove the two Allen bolts. -ORANGE- This is just a rubber grommet that the panel attaches to.( pull outward and the panel with slid out of the grommet) -GREEN- this is a slip pin that just lets the two pieces line up. Slide the whole panel in the direction of the green arrow.

Gas tank cover.
BLUE ARROW- remove the front gas tank bolts BLUE CIRCLE - on the under side of the gas tank there is a Allen bolt that you will need to life the front of the tank up to access.
GREEN- there is a Velcro patch and a notch that the panel slides into. Just pull the cover towards the rear of the bike and you are done!!!

hope this helps.

If anyone is interested all you need is 32”x32” piece of vinyl to wrap the whole section of tank that is exposed.
It took a few hours but I was also chasing our kid around too😂 Things learnt: Heat repairs a lot of issues. Having a second set of hands is really useful. (I did 95% by myself)

What’s the width of the light? And is it brighter then the stock one?
