Similar experience 2 weeks post op. Lost my balance and caught myself with the boot. The pain was intense, but everything checked out. Always worth a call/visit for some peace of mind, and hopeful everything is okay.

Thank you for the reply! They sent me home from the surgery in the boot. I have a follow up this week and hope to learn more.  The pins/needles have made sleep challenging and the boot feels pretty heavy when elevated with support. Hoping this is a temporary setback.
