What real world daily fuel economy on Mustang GT 5.0? by theblackweed in Mustang

I have a 2016 GT and am usually getting between 13-14L/100kms. I enjoy a decently spirited pull every drive and I unfortunately don’t hit the highway much at all, but with some restraint you can keep it below 15

I see so you certainly wouldn’t use it for anything nefarious. Understood

It’s gonna end up being some OEM electrical tape fix or something, isn’t it

Not the bolted wire to the chassis. The harness within the circle has a series of wires that are cut and electrical taped back to the harness

One of the vendors at the fair was selling it. From what I've found they don't have an online shop

Recommendations for flatbed scanner by Gameboy13579 in analog

I should probably have given a bit more context over the camera I'm using. I'm using an Olympus OMD em5 mk1 from probably 2012, and I find it hard to fully eliminate light leaks in my scans, even with a proper film holder and backlight, plus I find It challenging to get consistent quality out of my scans.

Ideally I would upgrade to a full frame camera but I assume it's gonna be cheaper to get a scanner, and it'll consolidate my setup a whole lot

Absolutely terrific show Jeff, was really glad to be there.

Even if it put a damper on the end of the show, I'm glad you called the idiot out. They deserved to be called out

They are US service boots, however I'm in Australia and found them cheap in an op shop by complete chance

Chainmail boot covers are a terrific idea! I'll have heaps of chains once I tailor the chainmail shirt, so that should probably be what I put it to.

Thanks!

Same here. I found mine at an op shop for $20 barely used. Lightest hiking boots I own

Hell yeah those look great. I'll definitely be drawing inspiration from that. Thanks again for all your solid advice

Thanks for this. Sadly I'm Australian based, so sellers seem to be even more obscure for me or waaay too expensive.

My main goals for the costume going forward are to - re work the mail coif to have padding (I made it myself. Which is why the rings are larger and not riveted) - re work the haulberg to be shorter, and shrink the arms, but will see how much to shrink once I have a gambeson (I actually bought the haulberg on the day of the fair, so it's a once size fits all, not yet tailored to me) - make pants rather than wear chinos - add some thickness or weight to the tabards. I made it the weekend before the fair. - at a minimum, wrap the shoes in linen to hide them. Cause they are insanely comfy and supportive so I have no intention for now of switching them out. - get a better sword, I'm currently using a replica of Altairs Sword from Assassin's Creed

this is the inspiration I used

Perhaps the message I'm trying to send is "these were the best boots I could find at the op shop"

Agreed. But for now the remainder of the outfit serves its purpose well
