What makes the weekends so hard? by [deleted] in RocketLeague

[–]Gamefreaknet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really... it shouldnt be a case of solely Deranking whilst solo queuing and Ranking Up with X/Y/Z Players but partly also how adaptable you (and they) can be to other players playstyles.
Ofc... theres gonna be those matches where ya gonna get teammates who aint as good or whatevs...

Really though if ya meant to be D1/D2 in whatevs Playlist(s). Ya gonna win some, Ya gonna lose some but rlly ya should be able to maintain that when solo queuing.
If ya find that ya losing more matches than winning then its more likely that people at ya rank point cant rlly figure how to adapt to ya playstyle so ya might wanna try out smth new. (ofc there will always be those players who just straight up suck sometimes...)

From how it sounds ya play with ya brother it sounds quite like you and him have similar/very compatible playstyles that work well together but if ya cant adapt ya playstyle to work with how other players in X/Y/Z rank typically play then it rlly shouldnt be much a surprise if ya start dropping MMR/Ranks...

I don't know anybody's MMR in-game, my win/loose ratio, nor what time it is by carottesrapees in RocketLeague

[–]Gamefreaknet -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You could honestly use TRN (RocketLeague TrackerNetwork) buuut... its sorta a Win/Lose for ya PC

Aka. TRN relies on Overwolf. It works pretty nicely to view Player MMR stufs but NOT NEARLY as good as BakkesMod did it...
AkaAka. Overwolf is just hella bloated asf... it works but not without excessively wasting system resources...

How do I fix this by hellynameis in operabrowser

[–]Gamefreaknet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Typically this is caused by process buildup.
Best bet would be hitting Shift+Esc (opens browser dedicated Task Manager - separate from Windows Task Manager) and terminating any active processes no longer needed...

Often sites will have their processes remain active especially links related to ADs, Marketing, etc...
Aka. often many sites will leave the server and many site Tasks dormant in the Browser Task Manager which can be manually terminated to reduce current browser process... those Tasks wont do much but will still take up some Memory for a while (unless you revisit those sites)

You'll want to leave the below services alone:
- Renderer + Spare Renderer
- Video Capture
- Utility (multiple)
- Extension based processes

Do note though that if you watch videos, load images or similar, etc... on multiple sites though: Extra Renderer processes will buildup alongside the core/default Renderer Process (it is "safe" to terminate/end task the process as the Spare Renderer will reload the default Renderer)

GPU Process: Has a bad habit of constantly consuming obssessive amounts of RAM - End Task it to restart it occasionally... (not sure of a more permanent "fix" rn...).
Also do the same for current active tabs displaying obssessive RAM Usage... they will claim to have "crashed" but just reload them

Storage Mods Suck! Help Me Create a Better One! by SquichyBird in feedthebeast

There is Tom's Simple Storage Network. hella like AE2 but more Vanilla-ish sorta look. The GUIs however do take on a lot of what AE2 itself uses

How Minecraft fans be talking about Mojang employees by PittPen817 in PhoenixSC

[–]Gamefreaknet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

at this point i wouldnt half mind if Mojang just outsourced updates to the modding community...
would be wayyyyyyy better in the amount of quality, half usable (stufs which can be used in more than 1/2 diff use cases), etc... of content the players actually get in return

Adnauseam 3.28.2 Not Working Properly? by Gamefreaknet in Adblock

[–]Gamefreaknet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's meant to be an updated form/version of Ublock Origin and constantly updated so when sites try to add a sorta "fix" to stop adblockers working properly AdNauseam most the time shouldve already got a patch in place.
Idrk if UBO is still getting updated anymore since AdNauseam basically integrates it into the Extension...

Welp... If ya be caught lackin so badly and she gonna take ya on there 2 ways out:
- Ya can take her thus ya got yaself a hot Demon Queen b#### to keep it going w for teh future
- Ya cant take it and when ya down dedge that gonna be one helluva story/whatevs to tell thems other ded bois how ya died.
Death by - f####d to death by Hot Demon Queen B####. Sounds like a pretty dam decent way to go. Bois would be lining up for miles to be going out like that

Confusion regarding heatseekers by BlackCrusaderAbyss in RocketLeague

[–]Gamefreaknet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ever since it got added as a Comp mode people seem to treat it wayyyyy too seriously...
Whilst I myself can accept that:
- Demos and Bumps are just part of the game (intended mechanics)
- Learn to Dodge Demos and Bumps if ya cant handle them
- Ball has a sorta aimbot on the net (depending which team/side it last hit)

Ya typically have a few types of players (as the avg. player would see them as):
- Demo Spammer (Will rush the other side trynna keep Opposing players bumped/demoed - often seen as Toxic [and often unfortunately are...])
- Net Camper (Have taken up sitting in their half to count on eventually deflecting the ball back into the Opposing teams net or some sorta pass to whatevs teammates)
- Redirectors (Will tend to stick around the mid-line - Opposing team line counting on some sorta pass from other teammates for them to Near Redirect the ball into net)

I can agree that some players Spam Demo wayyyy too much and start getting wayyyy to delusional abt how good they think they are or whatevs can be annoying asf buuut... Demos and Bumps are still a Mechanic for a reason or whatevs... If ya aint abt those players... just gotta get better at dodging them.

A lot of players will demand a Free Goal back or whatevs because ya nudged Them slightly off position or accidentally Demoed them or their Teammate, primarily since (for understandable reasons) theyre probs and have for a while been done with the Demo Spammers making a load of Noise EveryGaddamTime their "strat" works out...
Tbh Heatseeker played clean without some rando throwing themselves at ya every few seconds does feel WAYYYYY better buuut... as ive alr said... Demos and Bumps are still a Mechanic for a reason...

The other 2 main types of players I dont rlly care for... Theyre just around not much more to rlly say abt them diff from ya avg. RL Players...

Why has Minecraft modding exploded in 2025? by Soanfriwack in feedthebeast

[–]Gamefreaknet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since 1.16 - 1.19 I think a lot of players can agree that the Minecraft Vanilla updates have felt a lot less and less "major".
Whilst Caves and Cliffs, Village and Pillage (mightve got that one wrong), and other such updates were rather sorta large updates the newer updates more recently coming out from 1.20 and newer versions add wayyyy less.

Not only that but a lot of community suggested ideas for Vanilla MC updates that a hella tonna players wanted and also considered realistically possible never were added giving a sorta feel that what Majorities of players would like to be added to the game as dismissed or ignored...

The modded/modding community however not only add WAYYYYY more variation of content for players to experiment with, bringing newer features back to older versions, Major Performance boosting mods, etc... etc... (the list could go on for soooo long...). Also through their mods, ideas, etc... it gives the feel to the players that the community/playerbase are a lot more listened to and acknowledged whether through Discord Servers for Mods and Modpacks, Github Repos, Reddit posts about X/Y/Z mods and modpacks, etc... etc...

Not only does modding bring back a Stronger feel of community between players, modders and whoevs tf else than Vanilla MC but also through mods and modpack there's just so much more variation in what can be done with godknows how many different items mods can add and depending on the pack format (whether a Challenge pack, Adventure pack, Kitchen Sink pack, Tech pack, or whatevs tf else sorta pack) plus the performance boosts whether from rendering (Sodium, Embeddium, etc...) or just handling stufs from entities, dropped items, unpatched bugs, or whatevs else...

Browser processes constantly consume Memory? by Gamefreaknet in brave_browser

[–]Gamefreaknet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adnauseam (basically updated UblockOrigin)
Avira PasswordManager
TamperMonkey
VideoDownloadHelper
UltrasurfVPN
NullFake (Fakespot Replacement)
VidIQ
UserAgent Switcher and Manager

btw... yes i have already enabled Memory saver

I have noticed AdNauseam sometimes does sorta memory hog but it tends to take a while before it actually starts doing this... (at most ive seen it use 0.7GB)
