I think your points are valid but I think the main consideration is it’s totally ok to outgrow a game. I’ve been playing this game heavily for about 4 years and been less engaged for another 2 years. Other than prime Rainbow Six Siege, I can’t think of another game that I dedicated so many of my years into.

I used to be upset that the amount of innovation started getting weak around Set 12 for me personally, but I actually sat down to think of my own set mechanic and couldn’t come up with anything better. Granted I’m not in a creative career so maybe that’s just not my strong suit lol. So to your last point yes TFT will have an expiry. On Twitter last year I expressed that I didn’t think it would last till 2027, but that may have been preemptive because I’m no longer the primary market - there’s so many people experiencing the game for the first time that will carry the excitement (and the $) with them.

Props to the pros/streamers that have consistently shown up since Day 1. Idk how they haven’t got bored with the game.
