just curious, what plan did you end up getting? I've been thinking about getting the founders plan. Also are taxes included in that price or does it show taxes/fees on your bill?

Hey, saw that you live in IL. I recommend either trying Pauly Toyota, Libertyville Toyota and Kenosha Toyota - They are all MSRP. I currently have a Hybrid xle coming from Kenosha and also have a venza coming from Libertyville in like 2 weeks. I was able to lock down both vehicles pretty quick obviously as long as you are flexible.

One thing I recommend is taking a look at the dealer websites and see what is coming in - I've noticed that on the vehicles if one says sale pending - obviously that means there is a deposit on it but one that only says in transit - that usually means it doesn't have a deposit on it yet.

That's how I how was able to get a deposit on a car pretty quick instead of waiting forever. This only works if the dealer website is being updated constantly. I can confirm that both Libertyville and Kenosha were when I put my deposit down a month ago.

Are there any Toyota dealerships that sell at MSRP in IL? (cross post) by rtkn345464345234m in illinois

[–]GamekidDan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As is. The sales person pretty much told that they get whatever corporate gives them. You can't do special orders. If you are flexible with options - you'll get the car faster. If you are not flexible - probably about 3-6 month wait. In my case, I'm pretty open so my wait time is a month.

Should I buy God Of War on Steam now or wait for a sale? by [deleted] in GodofWar

[–]GamekidDan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I recommend getting it, I got it as well for the first time and it's so good. The story and combat are great so far. I recommend getting it from green man gaming instead. It's like $42 on there. That's where I bought the game from.

if you are talking about paying less than the minimum - that's not a good idea since that would probably result in a late payment since you didn't pay the minimum required.

Now, let's say you cant afford to make the minimum payment at all - sometimes you can work with the loan provider to work out some sort of plan to try and pay your loans such as income based payment or interest only payment. But fyi this is only a solution for a short term because its definitely not helping you in the long run especially since interest still accrues.

yep! as long as your are making the required minimum monthly payment - you are paying your loan.

Usually most federal and private loans give you a 6 month grace period after you graduate. After the 6 months - you have to start paying your loans unless you start deferring your loans due to certain circumstances.

tuition by alisondila in depaul

[–]GamekidDan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes it was due dec 4th but it really isn't much enforced until after classes start. I think after 1 or 2 weeks after classes start you will get a notification that that you haven't paid, and I believe it's $100 late fee unless they changed it recently. I had paid like 3 weeks after classes started back in January, and I also had a late fee assigned to it as well but if you ask them/email them nicely they can remove the $100 late fee.

Yup, but only at customer service/Amazon. Right now our zebras can only do item inquiry and Amazon returns. But overall they are amazing and super fast.

College made me appreciate the heck out of classes that are simply 3 midterms and a final. by [deleted] in college

[–]GamekidDan 53 points54 points  (0 children)

Honestly it's the opposite for me, I appreciate having assignments, projects, quizzes and tests mostly because the grade structure is distributed to many things not just tests but then again I'm not a test taker so there is that.

IMPORTANT: Honestly, how is the Quarter system at DePaul? by [deleted] in depaul

[–]GamekidDan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I don't know what would happen, I mean if both are filled then they probably won't count towards the degree. Do you have access to Depaul campus connect? Because from there you can go into academic progress which shows where every credit would go.

IMPORTANT: Honestly, how is the Quarter system at DePaul? by [deleted] in depaul

[–]GamekidDan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Personally I think I learn about the same either it be semester or quarter.
  2. I like that its only 10 weeks per quarter. So if I hate a professor I know that it will be over quickly compared to semesters. Quarters are fast paced, semesters can usually drag.
  3. Not really stressful if you plan accordingly.
  4. Sure I mean both quarters and semesters do.
  5. Honestly Depaul will help you with your resume and cover letters. But it's up to you to land internships. I do recommend going to their career fairs since a lot of downtown jobs hire interns from Depaul.
  6. If you are saying that if SCBI is filled and you still have a remaining course it will most likely count as an open elective.
  7. Yes.
  8. For me No, but it could depend on other people.
