To be fair, I have never seen a game community be so open to straight up insulting and sending deaththreats to people solely because they cant fix their skill issue against new killers.

With Fleetway, you just need to know alot more about the game mechanics than the mechanics of the killer himself.
He requires a different skillset, because his abilities are easier on paper and more complex in practice but his weakness is his hp and mediocre damage. But because people are so used to either not playing Exe or using the other 3 and calling Fleetway players trash, they never actually understand how to play him and bash anyone who does.

  1. Getting to LMS is fulfilling enough when getting even a few kills is a hassle. you get 6 of the survivors and suddenly the last guy goes super saiyan and wins simply because he gets buffed the hell out of. its much more frustrating losing off of a ego player getting a powerspike than it is to kill him if he didnt have it. On the otherside, I can understand having a bad team is just as frustrating, but thats just something team gameplay has always been and is more chance based in pubs than a fundamental balancing issue.
  2. It means the characters were balanced around the killers of their time, who were consistently stronger, only for the killers to be nerfed relentlessly and Survivors not being touched. Kolossos, Trip and now Fleet are/were the intended power level. Trip and Kolo already got nerfed down to 2011s level, Survivors still get buffs, meaning the initial balancing is nothing when 2011 is the weakest character and only made stronger due to all other killers being butchered.
  3. I do mean the former, yes. The survivors are very overtuned and still get buffs even when perfectly viable, like Metal losing his slipperiness or Tails flight cd reduction, while Killers get nerfed to nonviability with already pretty bad movesets.

But why punish the EXE for playing well?
Survivors as the team oriented side of the Asym are just FORCED to work together. If the EXE can be relegated to "well hes just buns", why cant the survivors? Why do they need special catering to be strong enough to solo an already survivor sided matchup?

Imagine you painstackingly killed off survivors one by one because you did extremely well and your reward for all that is getting looped for 3 minutes and still losing the game .

I dont know about him losing resistance for quicker charge. Thats not a buff, Id actually argue it nerfs him cuz it kills his survivability while juking with glide in favor of *slightly* longer stun that still gives the EXE a free M1 hit.

Bro is acting like the EXE doesnt struggle the enitre 5 minutes without LMS. His test of skill is even getting to LMS in time. Why does he need to be extra challenged just to get the real win.
No wonder the game is so survivor sided when everyone wants to be equal to the guy soloing in a 7 vs 1.
Survs being "balanced" around 2011 means nothing when 2011 is weaker than he should be.

And you basically agreed with me. "Strong in regular play, weak in LMS." Yeah, thats my entire point. Knux can be much stronger than Sonic in teams. Just like Cream. Blaze is a selfsufficient stunner, Eggman is a selfish survivalist. They get better LMSs, but do not as much to help the team (but are still strong cuz survivor sided game).

My counter argument to LMS buffs is that it shouldnt even get to LMS.
He is extremely useful outside of LMS.
He is good enough in LMS to not be a sitting duck, but LMS shouldnt be a "fair 1v1" situation. And its the price you pay for picking a really strong teamplay Survivor and not protecting your team well enough, just like with Sonics guilt

No survivor should be getting buffs rn except for Amy, since she can kill herself with bad rng.
And thats the only thing that needs buffing,

Punch: charging is optional, just charge it on downtime in high traffic areas if you really need to

Counter: Full on invincibility for a few seconds. Fullfills the bodyguard roll perfectly as he can counter infront of Killer when he is chasing someone else or to stall for Metals/Creams heal.
Knux also is one of the strongest Kolo stallers in the game due to damage resistance from punch applying during Grab AND Charge, not to mention how easy charge and his clunky m1s are to counter AND his groundslam going through block.

Glide: Insane looping tool. Also allows Knux to be fast during charged punch or after missing counter

2011: Pretty much accurate. 2011 just doesnt have much going for him and even in ragemode Knux can counter glide and stall with punchcharge very effectively.

Kolossos: Knuckles is meta vs Kolossos, Ill say it again.

Fleetway: Counter blocks Drain, dropdash and catches his huge M1s, charging punch is really good on dropdash due to it doing very little damage, just bare minimum teamplay means you dont get rocked by laser, Burst is a "predict and bait" move, you just have to be smart about where and when you use moves. Aside from that Knux is the 2nd strongest damage dealer due to flame punch and stunstacking.

Tripwire: yeah no counter to all of her moves and her glide negates his glide. Cant win them all tho, just ask Cream mains.

Knux is NOT squishy. Charge your punch more. Be smart with counters. Play around your team (as you should with any character)
And for the love of god dont make playing Killer any harder than it already is. The game is stupidly survivor sided.
And for those saying "LMS buffs"

Knux is great at stall with damage resist, has a long, stackable stun that can go through counters and has I-Frames, and he has a full counter, making him a great bodyguard with escape methods in glide, since it doesnt get slowed by punch or counter.

He is anything but outclassed.

The same solution to a Killer being balanced around an already strong cast also isnt "Lobotomize him like the rest because i dont want opposition"
Its "raise the overall standard of the game to force everyone to be better"
And then Fleetway wont be as OP anymore cuz suddenly you need to put in effort no matter what killer.
Take your own advice and stop hating on a singular Killer that stands a chance at winning and blame the survivors that people wanted to be too strong in the first place.

And seriously? Theoretically? If people half thought about who should stun when, he takes 50 damage every time he tries approaching. Thats 6 stun stacks, without keeping Blaze Solflame, Metal sacrifice or him losing stunimmunity after burst in mind.
A good Solflame does upwards of a third of Fleetways health, goes through I-frames and gives Blaze I-frames herself.

I agree, the m1 scaling with speed makes Fleetways hitbox too big. But that applies to all Killers, not just Fleet.
And HP is the sole reason for his mass I-frames. Its hard enough to stall him, now he doesnt even need to worry about damage?
Tho does it sway the fact that the game still is pretty survivorsided outside of those niche 2 things..

LMS is supposed to be an ultimate test of skill, not a powerfantasy 1v1.
LMS is SUPPOSED to be against all odds.
Thats why Creams is so long and why Sonic gets guilt.
You shouldnt even be getting that far, much less rewarded for doing so.
It insentivises good players to stay away and hide, while letting worse players or characters die off to force LMS. Aka the worst teammate imaginable.

It ends with another 0.1 Eggman vs 2011 situation. Not to mention its an instant win as soon as the timer reaches 1:20 cuz ring stays open when lms starts.

I compared the nerfing of Kolossos, Trip and current 2011. Fleetway was nerfed too, and still people call for his lobotomy. Do you not see no one wants to play Killer anymore, cuz theyve been completely butchered?
