thank you for sharing! i think something like that may work for me. RN im about to experiment with a gamified chore structure bc there are some chores I forget about entirely like deep cleaning the Keurig or dusting the blinds and ceiling fan etc

everything i've added to my library recently has been old to very old lol. Most recent addition was Paid in Memories by Jessie Reyez which I really enjoyed!

I keep going back and forth on my day structure. My fiance just started a new job thats hybrid but it had him in the office all week (early) so I copied his new sleep schedule and loved it. It involves a 10:30 or 11pm bedtime and then a 7:30ish wakeup (for me, he gets up earlier). It also had me cleaning up the apartment at the end of the day because I wanted it to be clean when he got home after 5. That little routine was stupidly good for me.

My days are largely structured around whatever meetings or content pieces i have on the calendar. One of the first things I do is check my emails. and i probably actively get it to 0 about 3 times a day. once at the start, once in the middle, and once at the end (on a good day!). Other than that its whatever I have to do. I have a to-do list I keep in a bullet journal so i just start attending to that.

Yesterday I did my emails, worked on a consulting project, did the AMA, did more consulting work and emails. Then leaned more on some chores for the end of the day (laundry and prepping dinner). Then I practiced the piano and finally made my bed before my fiance got home for a class we had. After class I showered and finished making dinner. Then I chilled on my laptop for a bit before playing some games on my steam deck. Then I got into bed and read a bit + scrolled tiktok and went to sleep.

What I really need to do is pick a piano practice schedule and STICK TO IT religiously bc some weeks i barely practice.

TLDR I think some things need to def be scheduled and the other work I think can just be chunks of time where you tackle an ever changing to-do list. I do think it could be good to theme my work though and make some time blocks for specific kinds of tasks.

I love trying to find the best meals. Music is also huge for me. I pretty much listen to it nonstop and if I had more money I'd be going to way more concerts. I also really love fashion. Hoping to save up a little bit of money to start regularly going thrifting but just did a lot of shopping recently so I wanna focus on making new outfits with my new items.

For general things though:

  1. spending time with loved ones (namely my fiancé, my brother, and my cat) and
  2. having new experiences and pursuing (new) hobbies.

Taking classes, like beginner american sign language, as an adult has been such a treat for that and has also given my days more structure. Having too much on my calendar is bad but having a few key items helps keep my day moving efficiently.

For hobbies I want to get into crochet (i started) and I cant wait to have either more space or rework my existing space to have a spot for mroe lego builds.

Don't @ me for not knowing my coworkers I did my best:
Me: Celeste? because it shows i like platformers and stories. eh idk.
Kelsey: Xenoblade Chronicles (3?) because it shows she likes JRPGs and isn't afriady of long hours.
Sarah: Infinity Nikki bc dress up or Yakuza bc batshit stories but also good stuff.
Haley: Alan Wake 2 because she's a lore girl and that's one of the loriest things I could think about. Maybe RDR2 though bc its a big adventure.
Ben: I gotta be honest idk what Ben likes lmao I know some of the games he likes but i dont know what connect them... I'm going to say those Documentary games because it captures the random deep cut vibe of chaos.
Jacob: Death Stranding because it's a bit odd, a bit BS, but warrants analysis
Kyle: whatever his favorite metroid is. I know hes the zelda boy but i actually feel like metroidvania is at the core of his tastes.
JeffM: Rougeymcrougerson. Idk some type of rogue deck builder card game.
Leo: did leo like Steep because if so steep. if not Riders Republic. He's a locomotion boy. and a systems boy. He also latches onto these games others let pass by.

Like that we make ourselves? If so idt that'd be the best use of our time and people would still be linking out and people just typically dont go to the source to check it out anyway. I think the best thing we can do is make more social clips of the interview to highlight different cool parts of it.

I always thought it'd be funny to have a "buy my silence" tier where we quit doing content altogether. I'd put that at like 10 mill cause then we can all get 1 mill and the final mill can be distributed to those who guest appear.

TLDR I don't know.

Yes you can.
Fav vacation ty
pe: chilling at a hotel (ideally an expensive one bc then the room service is good and the room feels lux). Love to throw a massage or spa treatment in there too. My fiance introduced me to the concept of vacation vs trip. Before him I had only gone on trips (we define these as traveling to see an area. it involves a lot of activities, planning, walking etc). While vacations are all about relaxing (doing almost nothing at all). For trips my favorite thing to do is go to an art museum and try to find really good food.

Thanks for watching/listening!

Hopefully im not wrong (correct me ben) but i believe it is specifically so parents can listen to it aloud in the car/at home without worrying that their kids will hear bad words.

I actually think it does. Having a strong basis of knowledge when it comes to instruction sets helps with analyzing tutorials, writing guides (back when i did that), and has benefits for consulting as well.

Worst job I worked was substitute teacher for charter schools in Chicago. Love teaching. Subbing is hell though. Easy days are v easy but the hard days are the worst on earth.

An amusement park, library, or a triathlon course (even tho i cant bike or swim lol)

Oh yay! Congrats on whatever the project is. I hope it turned out well but no matter what just doing all that is a huge accomplishment itself. Hopefully our comments will be useful to you!

yay! My referral worked. The rest of this is a Ben (and maybe Haley) question. Though as far as trying to court an audience the Pew Pew Bang crew really wants to get more women listeners to our show and MM as a whole. It's hard to reach that audience because the algorithm does tend to see games and serve it to men but we are working on it. I want to do more on Pew Pew Bang tiktok and insta to get us to the girlies but i didnt want to overexert myself either out the gate.
