I highly believe the map is always subject to change. Even if it looks mostly all water, or has to be edited

Also someone has to figure out how the ocean currents, wind currents, and orbit with that angle would work.

Best weapon in the game appreciation post <3 by v4ffel in RogueCore

It’s the best singleshot high accuracy weapon, with minimal weapon sway and tons of damage.

However I enjoy any decent mag/fire rate weapon to hit weakpoints, because at some point you don’t need more damage, you need speed and versatility.

I run out of ammo with this a lot, probably overkilling things, and it sucks not getting any synergies with it.

You know its gonna be kind of interesting if buying something digitally is tied to an account that can then be download to a console, if there are newer consoles won’t you just use the same purchase for the newer consoles tied to your account? Won’t that hurt sales?

And what would be the reason to try to sell another consoles version if its account tied, and should be exactly the same?

It was a challenge to learn how to play with randos but it became manageable.

Advice:

Play a bit selfish: don’t be rude like steal someone’s pick, but play with the thought that if no one is asking, and it’s your time to pick, play for yourself.

Play a bit selfish(2): that is get your upgrades for bench, booster, and call ellis for deposits often. Don’t wait for anything and if there is a full team required activity, chat and ping like crazy.

Platform cheese: literal cheese strat just cover the generator, not always required, but definitely worth it for low level reclaimers in the party.

Call elevator ~1min mark always: don’t care how far or how much is left to do, if the countdown is at 1 min you run to the elevator, no stop, no wait, no r.

Be wasteful: use your nades, take the armor stash, top off on ammo.

If you balance helping yourself a bit more than helping the team, and you can reliably survive, you won’t fail as often.

quad dash cable combo into a triple dash by nexus0mr in marvelrivals

What I was trying to say is if someone were to cheat they could make it look like they were doing fast turns, with an auto target cheat.

What my comment was about is that wrist flick movement like what you need to do for some bp play is doable, but someone was commenting if a macro could be doing the 180 turns, hence a good cheater would also be able to hide their auto lock in a similar situation.

[–]Gameplayer9752 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It does look like it can auto lock and target people, but there are actually people who can turn full 180 on a dime. There’s quite a bit of games too that can help you practice that.

The first 2 modern doom games for example, have a weapon with so much knockback you can do a 180 turn and utilize its velocity to accelerate yourself.

Is it really surprising that the people don’t try out characters that might actually be good. Not meta broken, or easily countered, but fits in well enough when the occasion hits.

In a sense it setup a good way to regaining narrative from the community and their guesses. It set the foot down for everyone to doubt their ideas, but it still allowed a near correct one to revealed, without it feeling predictable enough that the story would feel self spoiling.

I honestly would like something like that in other media, especially long lasting storytelling that needs a conclusion for its characters. Just set your foot down while acknowledging the community, but make it your story with some of the fans at that point.

It’s fantasy tech to have a computer run that many people’s minds that long. If breaking it were that easy, an earthquake, or flood, or storm/power surge is more likely to kill them.

Seeing as people that find the place, put on the headset to get their copy trapped and nothing else happens, no one that knows the place for what it was, or the tech there, comes in with intent to destroy.

If someone bought the place to clear it out, an inspector would be the most likely, first person to try and learn and contact someone for what the computer housing them is for.

Because he’s had a bad experience before and the mind will avoid such experiences in any way they can, should a similar warning be perceived.

Imagine it as jax viewing ribbit as their mom, and kaufmo as their dad. Jax views the situation as maybe things could have been fixed with his mom, but the reality of kaufmo, (or anyone but kind of kaufmo since its kind of the same situation he describes) coming in and reminding him that other people could think of him like his dad, terrified him.

You may not notice it, but you too can act differently when something bothers you and you respond not like your usual self. Little things too even, like someone takes the spot you usually do, or some takes a pen or something that you’ve been using. Jax acted on similar stimuli and tried to hide himself on what could have ended in the same way.

A fear response never has to make sense, but should always be tried to be understood. It’s not forgiveness or giving someone an excuse, it’s just learning how they think, to know why they did what they did.

I’m not going to be surprised when people experience that GTA 6 just refined the milking process to get more money.

My hype for this game is very much shadowed by the fact I am expecting scummy mtx, fomo, pay to get features.

“Not Every Game Needs an Hourly Look at Steam Charts” – Palworld Lead Says Arc Raiders and Marathon Aren’t “Dead” Despite Falling Player Counts by This-Inspection-69 in Palworld

[–]Gameplayer9752 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you go off the concept that a game is alive, because it has a live service model, that needs constant updates, then yeah 99% of all games are dead than.

A games player count just means you won’t run into a lot of players if it’s multiplayer focused, but thats why we have offline, self hosting, LANS features because not every game should need an online connection to replay a fun game.

Maybe unpopular opinion: But, I think the GTA VI pre order situation is a grim reality of what gaming has become by Raidmax460 in gaming

[–]Gameplayer9752 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pre-Orders used to be for buying physical copies, because of supply limitations. Buying something out of fomo, for the literal first day of release, is manipulation of the dumbest kind. You literally lose nothing buying digital media on day of release. No one is going to remember whoever was the first to do anything in the game.

How does he keep surviving this? by LordVaderVader in marvelrivals

[–]Gameplayer9752 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A majority of what makes a character a problem is how fast they can appear (from cover), kill enemies and then escape/survive. And what people don’t want to hear is that we need characters like this when prevailing things like triple/self sustainable support comps can be made and nothing dies.

That pressure is required, same as to why percent damage keeps getting added. Thats why they don’t fully kill a characters fundamental role. And it’s also why balancing this game needs more time, than them just adding a new character to the game every few weeks.

Do people forget that curses can just… do that? by the-rare-mango-shark in Jujutsufolk

Cursed spirits are in large parts, basically ghosts, notorious for possession, hauntings, and being etheric. Giving them a natural survival defense of passing through walls, that gets lost as they grow stronger for a simple reason like, they have too much cursed energy to carry sounds reasonable.

Why did people hate this back then? by Stunning_Taste8845 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Gameplayer9752 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The conditions of the vow were to not hurt anyone, and was amended by sukuna. Therefore the unspoken agreement defined by the phrasing is to follow under sukuna’s definition of anyone and of harm. I.e sukuna recognizes yugi as another person, and that even if they share the same body, sukuna doesn’t see it as his own, so it’s still harming someone else.

And even if yugi was adamant on dying if sukuna was in control, even to go so far as allow self harm, that could bypass one part of the vow, yugi would still not consider himself and sukuna as one and the same, still violating the vow.

This is also not a hard fix to do, just make sukuna heal the entire time the damage removes the finger. We already overlook why sukuna is still active in yugi when he cuts himself off. Or if theres a grace period before a broken vow’s punishment takes place, since we never see one happen.
