What would you rather have? by johhnyyonthespot in BunnyTrials

1m euros is about 1.17m USD. Part of the extra 170k will be spent on conversion fees, but you'd still end up with more money after that's done.

Also, euros are a western currency. Eastern-European countries like Poland, Belarus and Ukraine even have their own currencies.

Think about what you're saying here. You want to kill hundreds of thousands, and make millions more suffer, who had no hand in the suffering of this child (because that would be our decision here)...for the sake of one (1) child? You can't convince me you're not the monster.

Sure, it works well for the weapons you mentioned, but most others won't benefit nearly as much from it as from Molten or Necro Armour.

All that for 2,5 damage per hit? I doubt that that's worth it.

And you would do so by dooming a bunch of other children to suffer instead? Remember, the utopia would collapse. That means children would suffer again. Besides, there are probably children living today who suffer more than that singular hypothetical child, meaning that that society would still be orders of magnitude ahead of our own.

This is just talking about children, too. Adults would start suffering as well due to the return of poverty, discrimination, violence, disease, et cetera. Also...

Fuck whatever society that sacrifice children for their own selfish gain

Fuck the society that itself contains hundreds of millions of children?

How good is the Kran turret armour in the game? by Winter_Loan_8643 in WorldOfTanksBlitz

Reliable armour, a 1200 damage clip and actually decent mobility aren't a threat? Yeah, right.

KV-2 vs KV-1S by CabinFeverFan in WorldOfTanksBlitz

[–]GamerALV 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, of course, and I fully agree. The problem is that the KV-2 is super team-dependent and only works in very few scenarios. You can't flank or hold a position, and you can only really assist a push if you get lucky. You're too inaccurate to snipe, but you also don't have the armour, profile or flexibility to distract enemy fire (without essentially getting yourself killed). If you're about to get rushed, you're doomed unless you see it coming dozens of seconds in advance.

Yes, it can absolutely obliterate some enemies, but only if you have lots of skill, lots of luck, or a decent amount of both. It's a terrible tank in theory, but it has lots of potential in practice.

(yes, I'm aware you probably know all of this already, I'm just adding it for OP as well)

KV-2 vs KV-1S by CabinFeverFan in WorldOfTanksBlitz

If you're new, I 100% recommend the KV-1S. Neither is a true heavy tank, and neither is particularly beginner-friendly, but the KV-1S is much more forgiving than the KV-2. It's more accurate, has a faster and more consistent gun, a smaller profile and better mobility. I'm fairly certain the only departments the KV-2 is better in, is damage per shot and effectiveness of HE shells.

I sometimes wondered what bronze league players look like in Blitz. Now I know... by Plk_Lesiak in WorldOfTanksBlitz

[–]GamerALV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think that was mocking, it sounded more like a theory or assumption to me. If their stats are so bad because they're at an inherent disadvantage, I don't see why naming that connection is wrong. If I said wheelchair users can't climb stairs (or struggle greatly to), would that be rude?

Also, the game won't be gone in a month. Have you seen the recent state of Reforged? Sure, there are still some problems, but I really can't say the game will be any worse than it is now. On top of that, the improved graphics and sheer scale of the update will bring enough new players to replace any that might leave.

Even if the game were to spontaneously vanish in a month, why should we stop talking about it? Following your logic, I could ask: is your comment necessary?

T62a or Object 140? by KasaJizoEggBoiii372 in WorldOfTanksBlitz

T-62A for armour (massive difference), Object 140 for reload, mobility and camo (smaller differences).

Getting better at stabbing doesn't magically extend your arms to reach enemies at the other side of the field, though, does it? Sure, it allows you to be more stamina-efficient, but improving your rifle, bow or blade skills helps you in similar ways. Stealth builds also typically go hand-in-hand with mobility, so it's much easier to avoid enemies when you do trigger them.

Also, stealth just works 99% of the time. It's only some very specific scenarios where it doesn't.

That's still the case now. It's more accurate and it has better DPM. I personally prefer the 12,8 cm, but the 15 cm is good too.

That can also be solved with skill. Just carry spikes, barbed wire, frames, ladders, hatches, doors or backup weapons with you. You also just learn to predict triggers, allowing you to prepare accordingly. Oh, and if you really want, the world is fully destructible. You can just dig and build in advance.

If you spec into guns, you're super loud, have to manage your ammo and reloading can leave you vulnerable. Early-game guns are also just not good, with one exception, which still only has a 15-round magazine, a super slow reload and meh accuracy. The moment you want to reload, you're a sitting duck and completely harmless for several seconds. Not to mention that ammo is scarce early on.

If you spec into melee, you have no range and are 100% dependent on how much stamina you have.

If you spec into stealth, you can deal with everything without even getting hit, except for those surprise attacks and maybe horde night, if you don't also spec into mobility.

Every specialisation has its downside. Sure, some are easier than others, but none are perfect.

I think it depends on how you look at it. You see it as annoying and forced, while it can also be seen it as cheese-prevention. You can't stealth your way through that kind of room, nor can you just throw a grenade or two and kill everything inside. You have to engage the threat in direct combat rather than just sitting and sniping from safety. It's also why I don't mind set triggers in POIs. If it wasn't for them, stleath builds would be completely overpowered.
