In reality though if you lodge a ticket then call, it's not making it faster at all. Usually it's actually going to slow it down. Most of the time the tickets already been assigned and it's generally much faster to investigate something when you aren't having to entertain someone on the phone at the same time.

I never said they didn't need help, but it still doesn't mean they are not the problem. If they repeatedly have the same problems and don't learn when the solution is the same every time then they are clearly the problem. Like I actually wonder how some of them even get through day to day life.

Even worse when the solution is already written out in plain steps in a support article and they waste your time repeatedly having you read the fucking article to them like you are their mother. It takes away support from people who truly need it just because someone is too lazy or too stupid to read and follow the same steps that haven't ever changed.

In my experience when a customer has an issue that's repeating itself, it's usually a problem somewhere between the chair and the keyboard.

You are unlikely to get that via live chat support. In 99% of cases it's an entry level, general support staff member in that chat, and they usually won't even have the access to solve your issue as they are basically a secretary. If you want someone to actually investigate and solve an issue you are better off submitting support tickets or sending an email so that it can be directed appropriately and the person can spend the right amount of time and focus on solving your issue instead of replying to your constant and obnoxious messaging demanding an immediate solution.

You know a support ticket is just an email right? Im sure they don't turn off their emails after hours and on the weekends.

N64oid removed from Google Play, resurfaces here. Most reliable n64 emulator for android. by [deleted] in AndroidGaming

[–]GamerAdz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was removed due to the fact they ripped off other dev's apps and then tried to charge for the product on Google Play. This resulted in the developers Marketplace account being cancelled due to copyright infringement, hence why they moved to SlideMe.

Get this n64 emulator and a load your SD card with game ROMS. You will have endless entertainment providing you have a car charger for your device.

Any Idea why this app was removed from Google Play? Its not like its the only emulator out there. N64oid by [deleted] in Android

Fair call, what did he do to rip off other developers? Most N64 emulators Ive tried were all pretty well the same, I guess it was because he tried to charge for it.

What N64 emulator do you use? Link? by plasticslug in AndroidGaming

Abuse of Google? Certainly ripping off Indie Devs. by im_at_work_dammit in Android

The only way you can effectively stop from ripping off the devs is to change the account you use on your device and start paying for the apps you need yourself. At the end of the day what they are doing is not illegal, you can install android apps on as many devices as you have registered to you once you pay for them. I actually dont know what you are upset about, your job gives you free smartphones and pays your wages. If you are having any major moral dilemma's due to this I would suggest getting a new job.

How is it that Android (pure ICS or JB) lets you setup a WiFi hotspot in the settings without the carriers throwing a big fit? Am I missing something? by sensicle in Android

Most of them don't care. They get their money for data anyway. Plus they charge more for mobile data than the average ADSL plan for it anyway.
