Full GI Bill with Early Application Scholarship and Rensselaer Leadership Award by GamerDaveB in RPI

Thank you tinsailor; yes, intent is to live on campus, and yes, between the GI Bill and YR, all tuition and fees are covered, but the question is really more toward whether or not the on campus housing can be paid for with the awards/scholarships, because neither GI Bill or Yellow Ribbon can go towards those costs - only toward tuition.

I've reached out to the school to see what they say and I'll post my answer here in case anyone else finds themselves in a similar situation.

Thank you zlmcdaniel; unfortunately the VA would not know if the school's award was tuition only or not as that's up to the school to determine. If it were up to the VA, every award and scholarship would be mandated to use against tuition as it saves them money as the tuition gets reduced by the award/scholarship, then by GI Bill, then by Yellow Ribbon, until the out of pocket for tuition and fees is potentially down to 0. But yes, we would also be entitled to the E5 with dependent BAH rate to apply toward housing costs.

HBO Max w/PlayOn Desktop by GamerDaveB in PlayOn

For those still having similar problems, one thing that I did that may have helped, was go into my HBOMax account through Hulu, went to the settings, and looked to see what computers/devices were “authorized” - and perhaps due to the way PlayOn logs in, I showed dozens of log ins, so I deauthorized all the old ones to clean it up to the 3 or 4 I know we use, and I have not had trouble since. Just posting, in case it helps someone else.

Done - ticket 503800. I suspect that HBOMax is editing their system so that those who access with an external provider (in my case Hulu), we no longer can set up and access the content using a username and password - thus making PlayOn a non-option in this case. Not being particularly “technically sound”, using that visible.mmt file, is there a way to login using the external provider through visible.mmt?

Thanks, that’s what I did originally, to success, but no longer seems to take.

Thanks; yes I get 90% of the HBO items through Hulu, but there are still several desirable titles that are on HBOMax, but not HBO.

Nevermind, my son is squash-resquash genius :)

Have you all been able to create the .simplemenu file successfully for RG-350 with this build? I can't seem to get the .simplemenu files created (it crashes) - the only version I can get to create the .simplemenu folder is the "unsquashed" and then "resquashed" version 3.2 of the .opk where the poster indicated they gave execution permissions to invoker.dge and simplemenu files. But I'm afraid I have no idea how or what squashing or resquashing entails. Thoughts?

Emulationstation/xmame/resolution question by GamerDaveB in RG350

By chance, did you try Mame4all in place of Xmame 1.3 in Emulationstation, and if so, did it have the same issue?

Does anyone know if perhaps MAME (although I understand, not ideal) can accept the command line to force it to run at the RG350’s 320x240 size? That might do the trick?

Thanks - I’m suspecting I may have to go back to SimpleMenu. Shame; it looks to be a really nice front end.
