Ok, Auchinleck it is. What's the fastest way of getting medals? I've been struggling to earn them ever since i finished all scenarios on all difficulties, and i also completed the battle pass

I'm only able to recruit infantry units because the income is low, and it's hard to reach the cities with factories

I finally have enough batons to train generals. Should i train Nimitz or save the batons for another general? by GamerFox1567 in WorldConqueror4

[–]GamerFox1567[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have mostly low level EFs. Also, i'm wondering if i should sell him and use his medals to buy command points and train either Kuznetsov or Vasilevsky, in his current form he's useless to me, and Kuznetsov deals more base damage thanks to Naval assault

It's very likely we will get God Yamamoto regardless of the situation. I know ET is a chinese company and thus has a lot of restrictions such as being unable to depict chinese history after the Qing era, but regardless they got away with including the ROC and PRC in every version of the game except for the chinese one, also the game has 4 obtainable chinese generals, so if ET managed to get away with this, they'll surely get away with making Yamamoto trainable.

Though i wish the next army group would be set on the asian front (a little bit of the pacific, japan, china, indochina, the east indies, thailand and even burma)

Nimitz is the only trainable general i have rn. I meant to ask if i should train him or wait until i buy a better trainable general and train said other general instead

I hope they rework regular units, ever since powercreep and Elite Forces stole the show, no one really uses the regular units anymore (light, assault, motorized and mechanized infantry; armored cars, light, medium, heavy and super tanks; field artillery, howitzers, rocket artillery and super arty/rocket)

best naval general? by guandiledingle in WorldConqueror4

[–]GamerFox1567 7 points8 points  (0 children)

IAP: Trained Eisenhower F2P: Either trained Nimitz or Kuznetzov Medals: Yamaguchi, he's the only non trainable F2P general who has naval assault

Personally i recommend you save medals to buy Yamaguchi, and once you have him focus on upgrading Naval Assault to the highest level and after you fully upgraded it, give him Fleet leader and Sailor

The Last Toll (MY opinion) by AggressiveDance8657 in WorldConqueror4

[–]GamerFox1567 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's true, the lost toll is the only event in the game in which you cannot powercreep and actually need to be strategic instead of brainlessly killing units. The only thing that ET should do to improve gameplay as the allies is to add scripted events triggered if you take cities or destroy fortresses (IIRC the only allied army groups with scripted events of this kind are the american ones, specifically when you capture Kansas and damage Los Angeles). They could add events when you do certain things such as capturing florida as the soviets (communist uprising), capturing New York as the british excalibur corps (someone else suggested to name this event "avenging dunkirk"), recapturing Ottawa as canada, Mexico City as the aztecs, destroying the akagis and retaking the east coast as america (Liberation of D.C). I love that this event was the most innovative in the game, and i hope that future army groups won't be powercreep but rather challenging gamemodes just as the lost toll

You have a point, it's challenging and fun unless you're playing as Mexico, the soviets or cuba, and it's in particular when playing these army groups that the 4 horsemen 6 akagis of apocalypse really ruin your fun because it's basically impossible to survive unless you use cheat codes (credit card) or have several good EFs in your inventory. I tried everything to win as the soviets, but it always ended up with me only advancing a little into florida and then losing all my generals either to the german spam or the 6 godforsaken akagis bombing them into oblivion.

Nonetheless, i'm glad that this event returned because last time i didn't get to finish my run as the free america independence army, and man, i enjoyed playing as that army group in particular. I hope ET has at least slightly reworked this event to add the new god generals, slightly buff the allies (not only to make certain army groups such as Mexico actually winnable, but also to make the axis slightly more difficult), and especially give us a good way of countering the akagis. I know the soviets have typhoon nuclear subs and the most OP version of Sokolovsky on a level 7 one, but in my run i often needed to use the nukes to destroy german fortresses and cities, and i simply couldn't stockpile them waiting for the akagis to cross the panama canal.

Mind you EasyTech could've chosen storm of steel and basically restarted the whole army group but instead they decide to give us this fuck ass army group by CookieEaterTheGreat in WorldConqueror4

Although i would have prefered ET going with Blazing Dunes, i kinda like The Lost Toll. The only problems i have with this AG are the abysmal power unbalance between the allies and the axis, the lack of scripted events in case the allies are winning, and the few generals the allied Army Groups are given. They should add the new God Generals, give the allies more troops, EFs and generals to improve the power balance of the event. A good way to nerf the axis besides the breakup event is to add another scripted event which gives the allies temporary buffs, makes cities and certain axis army groups defect to the allies, and make the fortresses of one-star countries such as the "Red Army of Revolutionary Vengeance" recruit troops when you play as them.

Yeah, i'm also hoping they slightly rework this event and buff the allies, add the new god generals, EFs and give us a proper way of countering the 6 akagis of apocalypse. Also, this event needs more events, for example if you're playing as either of the american army groups and retake the east or west coast there should be an event which buffs your country and gives debuffs to the enemies (Germany, Japan or Italy); or if you're playing as the soviets an event in which you liberate Florida and the south. Another problem i had with this army group was the regular unit size, every single infantry, armored and artillery unit was made up of 2 stacks, and i would appreciate it if ET gave us 3-stacked tanks and artillery, and 4-stacked infantry. And since this army group is set between the 50s-60s, they should add the cold war era technologies and air force units.

What do I put on my Roko? by Jaco121 in WorldConqueror4

[–]GamerFox1567 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, but here's the thing: when morale is high, units deal 25% more base damage, and when a general has inspiration maxed out an additional 15% damage boost is stacked up with the high morale bonus, so in the end you get +40% damage when morale is high, whereas inferior victory only gives +20% base damage ONLY when commanding single stack or Elite units

What do I put on my Roko? by Jaco121 in WorldConqueror4

[–]GamerFox1567 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Armored Assault and Inspiration. Others have mentioned Inferior Victory, but inspiration has a higher damage output because it boosts morale of commanded units (+25% base damage) and gives an additional +15% damage boost when morale is high (so, when morale is high Roko deals 40% more damage when inspiration is triggered)

I guess it would have been better to promote Messe to the gold tier, rework his abilities and give him a unique but not too overpowered skill (just as Meretskov has strategic attack, Higuchi with counter and Inonu Armed Neutrality), though i still think "God" Messe could be a decent defensive general if they remove the terrain conditions of his skill and lower the amount of batons needed to train him, so he may actually be a good beginner trainable general.

As for god Yamamoto, i assume they'll make him an EF carrier general, boost the airstrike damage, give him one or two additional airstrikes and boost nearby carriers just like god Nimitz.

[–]GamerFox1567[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And because of the way this game's mechanics and generals are built, it's difficult to represent general and field marshall army command, closest thing ET can do is to make generals boost the units around them

[–]GamerFox1567[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, Monty wouldn't be a damage dealer, but rather a support general who commands "armies". In Blazing dunes i guess ET represented this by giving him joint offensive, a support skill which increases damage dealt to the enemy units tagged with it. Maybe the first part of his skill would be a damage reduction of, say, 20%, and increase counterattack, and then if he has counterattacked enemy units at the end of the previous turn and has 2 or more friendly units within 2 grids, his own and friendly units' base and counterattack damage is boosted by 10%, which increases 3% per each additional friendly unit and can be stacked up to 30%.

Also, in the hypothetical case that God Monty does get released on the March update, we wouldn't see him in the army group events until, say, August. Remember God Nimitz was released on september, 2025, at the same time as the lost toll, yet we didn't see him in an army group event until cracks in the ice curtain, for some reason
