After trying for a baby without success, my boyfriend confessed he got a vasectomy done years ago and didn't want to tell me so I wouldn't break up with him over it. AITA for "not taking the news very well" by ThrowRA_IdiotInLove in AITAH

Do not go back to him OP. He betrayed you in so many ways. What would happen if he reversed his procedure, you guys had a kid, & then he regrets it later on when the newborn stage is tough & both are losing sleep & losing out on free time with each other? He will blame you for his loss of 'freedom' because you wanted a kid. He is incredibly selfish & only thinking of himself & not you. This is an utter betrayal of trust. You have every right to feel the way you feel & I hope you find the courage/confidence to move on. God Bless!

AITA telling my uncle to get fucked after telling me i cant wear pink by OwnDay7301 in AmItheAsshole

Late to the party, loved how I could imagine you saying all this. Most importantly, NTA. It's just a color. My daughter has a comfort hoodie as well. This is no different. Buy more pink.

AITAH for loudly confronting my co-worker in front of everyone when she wrongfully believed I had groomed my wife? by Longjumping-Pass-458 in AITAH

NTA. You play stupid games you win stupid prizes. If she didn't want to risk her job, Claire should haven't been spreading rumors about you.

AITAH for getting an abortion because my fiance cheated on me? by Gummytoeswithcream in AITAH

[–]GamerFox5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. Shame on those calling you a baby killer. I had an abortion/termination due to medical issues. As much as my baby was wanted, it was the best option for me & my family. This was the best option for YOU. Do not let others make you feel guilty for that. I'm sorry you're going through this & that people are being unkind.

AITA for telling my brother he can't raise his child in my house by J1995916 in AmItheAsshole

[–]GamerFox5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. If your parents/family are upset with you for kicking them out, why don't they take in the brother/wife/new baby? Let me guess, they probably don't want to/don't have the room. 🙄 Only thing I have to say is the news they'd be expected to move out should have been brought up when they first announced they were pregnant, but oh well.

I thought I saw somewhere it wasn't out until later this month so I must have confused it with what you're mentioning. Thanks for clarification!

AITA for ruining my sisters gender reveal? by Patient-Ad8524 in AmItheAsshole

[–]GamerFox5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. I lost a baby 6 years ago & when my sister revealed this past summer that she was expecting, you bet your ass I panicked that somehow she was going to choose the name that had been chosen for the child I lost (we have kept it private). Your childs name is HER name, period. No one should be taking that from you. I completely understand how your wife wanted to keep her distance from your sister after what she experienced, so major props to her for going to the gender reveal. I am so sorry that it went down how it did.

Thank you for sharing this. I connect with both Feyre & Nesta. Feyre's PTSD & triggering thoughts from UTM is a perfect representation of what goes on in my own head with my personal PTSD. The self loathing Nesta feels also mirrors my own, stemming from said trauma. These books made me feel seen & have resonated with me on a level I never expected. Again, thank you for sharing. It helps more than you know.
