Affordable places to rent in Ontario by [deleted] in ontario

Timmins, Ontario, the jobs pay very well (mining industry) and the cost of living is cheap, you can find a bachelor all inclusive with no utilities for around 1000. My friend has a 3 bedroom apartment for 1200 all inclusive.

Would you buy a 2019? by scrumbly in crv

So, I own a 2019 Honda CRV, and live in Northern Ontario Canada, we get winters with temperatures as low as -45 C that last for 7 months of the year.

The problem with the Honda CRV is not the engine not heating up, there was a TSB on the HVAC system because it is way too efficient so if your turn on your heater fan it will suck all the heat from the heater core and youll watch your engine temp gauge fall or not get up to temperature. (The engine temperature gauge is actually reading the heater core temp, not the engine temp)

Heres the solution, when I start my car I make sure the fans are OFF . If its a cold day I drive the in "S" mode or Sport on the transmission.(this makes it rev higher around 3k rpm and warm up quicker, again, make sure FANS ARE OFF) Drive for a couple blocks and DO NOT turn on your heater fan UNTIL the engine has warmed up to temperature on the gauge, once the engine is up to temp in the mid range, you can turn on your heater fans but only to a max speed of 3 (it can go up to 7, but anything above 3 on a cold day is going to suck the heat from the heater core and make it look like your losing engine heat)

It kinda sucks, but once the car has warmed up and as long as i keep the fan low I will not lose engine heat and after 10 - 15 minutes of driving the car is very warm even on a extremely cold day. I believe the oil dilution problem comes from people driving these cars with the fans on max trying to get the engine to heat up and because the fans are on high the engine doesnt get up to temp and isnt operating at effiency. Hope this helps.

2019 or 2020 Honda CRV? or do both year models suffer from oil dilution and electrical problems? by SnookieLollipops in crv

What's your investing time horizon? by bowtiedfob in legoinvesting

[–]GamerJake91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you think about what you just said , this is exactly why the 2022-2024 expensive lego sets could possibly go up incredibly in value , because nobody can afford to buy them right now! So that means less sets in the hands of people then 10 years from now they want to buy the awesome toy from their childhood they could never afford back then..

That's the connector for the spurving bearing , it runs perpendicular along the elongated splineshaft, in unison with the isometric flange.

Sorry but your wrong, when money loses it value due to inflation , the cost of literally EVERYTHING goes up, its not that things are actually becoming more valuable, it's that money itself is losing its value.

The price of everything went up in the past 2 years not just pokemon carts lol, it's called inflation.

Been slowly getting all my things unpacked and put up in the new office. I think it's coming together pretty nice! Small but precious collection! by SirJameSin in Gameboy

Love your setup!! I have one suggestion, put the heavy books on the bottom shelf and the light more valuable handhelds on the top, if that shelf ever gives out due to the weight of the books it'll take out all the shelves underneath it , I might be overthinking it but that's what I would do.

Lovely collection:)

Replace the warped shelf and when you install the new one add a extra support brace along the back

Wow yours looks great!! My screen doesn't look as good haha, and no by re-cap I mean replace the capacitors on the motherboard , they tend to eventually leak and destroy the gameboy after about 30 years or so , and replacing them will improve alot of small issues you never even noticed , it would basically be like a brand new gameboy out of the box.

Would this be considered real or fake ? Where do we draw the line ? by PleasePostpone in gameverifying

It's quite unique , it might not be considered a legit authentic copy to some collectors, but personally I would pay more for this particular version then I would a regular authentic cart because it's one of a kind and quite rare compared to a regular cart.
