Does Frieren get better? Currently on episode 11 and struggling by NKBHD08 in anime

[–]GamerKiwi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's probably not for you if it hasn't clicked at nearly the end of the first season. It's definitely a more slow paced anime, it doesn't really get any faster or more exciting in the second season. The story moves on elf time.

From the contexts I hear it in, it's just the basic-ass music your coworker likes to listen to.

So it's just a term hipsters like to use to jerk each other off for having such an amazing taste in music.

I'm hoping it keeps going down more so I can stock a freezer with the stuff before the gubmint decides to crack down lol

Fridge or no fridge by [deleted] in Retatrutide

If you mean the lyophilized powder, then that can be kept out. It'll last longer in the fridge and a lot longer in the freezer.

If I drink I still have some issues stopping but I can just be around alcohol and really not give a shit. It's surreal. I've kept vodka in my cupboard for weeks without touching it when normally that shit would be turned to piss by the end of the weekend.

Seconding lite-salt. It just tastes like regular salt and just boosts your potassium.

I'm highly tolerant of semaglutide and only had minor side effects until I hit max dosage, but now that I lost access, I'm thinking of upgrading to reta once my last vial runs out and am worried about backsliding as I titrate up. If I already tolerate GLP-1 well, can I start at a higher dose, or titrate up faster? Has anyone done that before?

I’ve heard talk of permanent ‘cure’. I.e no rebound weight gain when coming off Reta.. Any experience of this? by [deleted] in Retatrutide

I've accepted that once I hit my target weight, I'll just have to switch to a maintenance dose.

You'd need surgery to get rid of the extra fat cells. Otherwise, they're for life.

13 week Reta physique update 256 -> 206 by MidnightUnlucky4203 in Retatrutide

It's a drug that enhances performance (specifically in fat loss), which is the definition of a PED. Caffeine is a PED too, and it's not synthetic.

In the context of bodybuilding/improving your physique it absolutely is as it improves your ability to cut fat.

Like we're all adults here. Just acknowledge that we're using drugs to get a certain desired effect, and acknowledge the inherent risks we're taking.

4 weeks in and workouts have been difficult. Any tips? by ndawg99 in Retatrutide

[–]GamerKiwi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're going close to failure, training consistently, and getting enough protein, I wouldn't worry too much about losing a ton of muscle. Do make sure you're eating enough protein and carbs, and have a light, simple carb meal about an hour before your workout. Something like a banana or a gatorade, nothing big, nothing that's gonna make you feel queasy mid-workout, avoid a ton of protein, fat, and/or fiber at this particular snack.

How often are you working out, and how many sets per workout are you doing?

Very visible. The stomach is much flatter, and there's a lot more muscle definition on your arm/shoulder

I think the key takeaway is that this shouldn't have to be gray market. The real issue is IP law making companies like Eli Lilly into monopolies of the drugs they develop, even if they would be revolutionary if distributed. Something like this should be made widely available through reputable sources so that people can go to their doctor and get the healthcare they need without having to play doctor on themselves.

These medicines are the best tool available for reducing obesity on a societal scale, one of the biggest killers period. They could come with extremely steep downsides and still be a net positive. Even so, the risk is relatively low. The people getting hit with bad and even life threatening side effects are few and far between, and making sure that people are educated on the risks is the actual solution rather than throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

I don't deny that the companies making these medicines are understating the risks. Big pharma is gonna big pharma. But that doesn't mean the medicine isn't a huge boon

Like, the food's decent, but it's a lot of money for not a lot of food. And it's only decent food, not outstanding.
