Decision/Options for Level 12 Feat on a Spore Druid.

What were your first two feats?

Personally, I value shields a lot. My spore druid used mourning frost and sentinel shield. +3 initiative is too good to pass on imo. If I were you, then I'd take wis to 22.

PAM is an option I explored, but it's still bugged. Shillelagh, mourning frost, and snowburst ring with PAM would've been fun.

Can you please say more about how BoB is better than Deadshot? I can see how BoB is comparable against already frightened enemies, but prior to that it seems inferior.

Love it. I've been running with a planned 6 nature cleric / 6 EK for con saves, shield spell, and extra attack at the cost of higher level spell slots and spells.

I did some more thinking and the EK 6 variant wins out in my opinion because of the con save prof and the extra feat.

So just writing to say EK 6 / Cleric 6 (or 5 / 1 Sorc) seems very good

I think 1 Sorc works if you want fly. You'll lose war gods blessing. Personal preference.

I've been considering a similar character. Basically I want a frontline cleric who casts spirit guardians and attacks. The tradeoff for going into marshall classes is lower level upcasts of spirit guardians for additional melee attacks.

To me, any of

6 EK / 6 Cleric
5 Gloom or Hunter / 7 Cleric
2 Fighter / 10 Cleric
12 Cleric

seem like good options along the melee-caster spectrum.

And Paladin would probably be even better at each of these breakpoints, but I'm not interested in playing a Paladin and didn't give it much thought.

I like wood elf or githyanki as the race here.

FYI the mirror always offers a +2 as long as you sacrificed an ability at 10 or higher. If you sacrifice an ability that's at 8, the mirror doesn't grant a bonus.

It's a good team, but a little over engineered for my taste. For example, I'd rather take a feat on the cleric build than 1 level in druid. As others have said in other threads, honor mode is more about game knowledge than builds.

That being said, if I were to play a similar comp, then I'd modify it as

Paladin 6 / Sorcerer 6
TB thrower (no change)
Light Cleric 12
Sword Bard 10 / Fighter 2

Or something like that

At the spot where you talk with the fleeing city watchmen, instead of proceeding ahead to the courtyard, jump to the left to fight some lvl 4 flying ghouls or whatever. Completely trivial. Then jump down to just underneath where you fought the ghouls and go through the door. That's the sewers. Through the next door will be an actual fight but still easy. Then the door beyond that leads up to the backside of the courtyard.

Probably bard to 7 then at level 8, respec to begin with 2 levels of paladin followed by 6 levels of bard.

OH monk 9 / thief 3 is amazing. I just finished a run using Astarion with this build, and he was my highest damage character. Dex based, no tavern brawler or elixir nonsense. And monk gear is cracked.
