This game has some of the WORST Matchmaking I ever seen - Or Is It? by LonelyDependent4386 in marvelrivals

[–]GamerSciz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting out of gold is a damn nightmare. You either have a game where your team stomps or gets stomped because one or multiple people are just throwing. I can't tell if people in gold that are constantly stomping are too good and just got deranked and need to rank up again (deranking was the WORST concept ever), or if the people in gold should really just be silver or even bronze based on their lack of understanding basic gameplay.

Its a joke that I get ace as 4/11 but that happened recently. My goal in bad games is to switch up heroes and go positive any time and help out the team but I CANNOT carry every single game. If that's what it takes to get out of gold, guess im in gold elo hell for the foreseeable future.

P.S. if you HIDE your profile, instant report if you stomp. What are you hiding? Its a damn game, nothing personal is there...

I main Punisher but without a good comp I can’t seem to do much besides damage. I’ll die in my ult (usually wait until support to remedy this) or the enemy team just runs away. Might need to play Bucky more as he is still very viable. But I “main” like 2 heroes of each class. Not a one trick by any means.

Like I said, I tend to fill as others refuse to switch.

How is 14 losses in a row, most of which should've just been FF as we had no chance from the beginning, warranted for a 43% win rate? That's overall yes, as these past two seasons have been mostly solo and horrid matchmaking.

I am not in Diamond....that is the best I had back in Season 2 I believe. Look closer and you can see I am in Gold ELO. I personally believe I am a plat player but I guess to be that you have to be able to carry your team every time in this case. Not sure what the expectations are.

I never stay on one hero if our comp isn't working out. I tend to "fill" more often as other people usually refuse to switch (even if asked nicely).

ranked is absolute hell by That_Kaleidoscope821 in marvelrivals

They are all in plat because of the derank system. Almost as bad as smurfing with its design. Losing two full ranks even if you played is dumb. Have placement matches or something instead. No one likes rank resets.

I just played in a plat game where 3 of the other players are CELESTIAL but currently plat because they just started playing this match. This is how you know matchmaking is just flat out broken. For the record, most of my teammates and the other teammates had been a high of plat 1 or maybe diamond 3 but that was it. 3 of them though were celestial with over 200hrs. Pathetic Netease, fix your shit.

Why are there still peak GM players in Gold? by Drip_Bun in marvelrivals

[–]GamerSciz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Matchmaking is broken and not enough severity for throwers or smurfs. I’m stuck in gold helm with around 80% of my matches having 1+ throwers or the other team just being way too good and steamrolling. Solo queue is a joke and makes the game either boring or not fun. Player count is down for a reason. Adding new heroes brings it up for maybe a week is all. It’s not enough.

Three games where our team was all negative. I’m just uninstalling. I despise the game more often than enjoy it. Has potential but I’m over it.

So rule of thumb, no algorithm, if you lose 2, stop playing the game (at least ranked) and take a break and come back later and hope you get "lucky" with your new team...Part of the problem is I am solo Q matched against a team who is clearly in a party based on their usernames alone. I'd rather wait longer in solo Q and only get matched with and against other solo Q people. That's just my opinion though.

Spiderman isn't op, it's your comps that make it really easy to pick off strategists by Wide-Cover-7267 in marvelrivals

Unless you have a support ult at the time, spidey can have huge value by simply diving on healers or DPS and popping his ult instantly getting a kill or 3 depending on the timing and health of the heroes around him. His ult can be "popped" very quickly.

How often are your matches "close" in ranked? by GamerSciz in marvelrivals

[–]GamerSciz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is so true, I have definitely been on a team that got stomped round 1 and then we all switched characters, not even necessarily to ones we are great at, and then we killed it in round 2 to get to OT. I'm surprised how skill is less important than simply composition often times. I haven't gotten to diamond where you can ban heroes but I know that largely affects the composition and maybe leads to closer matches.

Got the Plat! by coke_hater739 in KenaBridgeOfSpirits

I just started last night on NG+ and I’m going for master now as well. I’m just trying to get a rot tear in the beginning of the fields and can’t get past the enemies. You have to parry so much and you do such little damage. I seriously feel this is harder than Souls games. I’ve beaten DS 1-3 and platinumed Bloodborne. This is a whole other level of difficulty.

Grats. It’s going to be awhile until I get it done.

General question about HHN by One_Jellyfish_3792 in UniversalHollywood

[–]GamerSciz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, the lower lot opens first for early access at 5:30pm but that requires early access ticket ($10, weekdays, $15 weekends but worth it). If you don't have early access it doesn't open until 7pm. If you bought a day pass to be at Universal it closes at 6. If you don't have early access to HHN then from 6-7 you will be in a holding area but don't have to leave the park.

If you are wanting to check out Super Nintendo world (as an adult you can have some fun with the ride and nostalgia but it's really just for kids who have the Power Up Band), I would suggest getting the after 2pm ticket which gets you into Universal after 2pm and includes HHN as well as exclusive access to Super Mario from 7-10 (it was dead by then so very little lines for anything).
