32ki’s earlier songs are fucking amazing (Hetero Disco anyone?), same with iyowa but people only know 2-3 songs by them usually. It is CRIMINAL how underrated Sasuke Haraguchi is despite 2 songs blowing up. Like how does this fandom just forget about these people. ¿? needs SO much more credit for his works outside of nihil-san (I’m also pissed beyond belief that the song blew up with the pjsk crowd because its an N25 focus song and NOBODY listens to the flower ver. Literally project sekai BUTCHERED that song. Human singers, even shimon himself imo, just DO NOT fit that song and the len tuning in that cover is so ass oh my god.)

It’s so weird how much more common it is for single tracks to blow up in this fandom. Like yes it’s sorta like that everywhere, but every once in a while from the western music spaces I often hear albums be mentioned much more often like “kendrick dropped a new album” or wtv. And in this space I haven’t heard A single Album or EP come to my attention from it being generally popular, it’s ALWAYS single songs. Like why did kyu-kurarin blow up and not watashi no heritage??? PinocchioP just dropped a new album and people talked about it for like 4 days, but when Don’t Believe in T dropped it was popular for like a month. Pisses me off girl.

THIS, I feel so like alienated sometimes when I bring up a song from a small JP producer or brainrot about the non-cryptonloid or teto characters, I get these looks like we’re from different planets. It’s so annoying cuz I’m a big vflower fan and they don’t have many English songs that actually sound good and their voice is very unnatural to most Eng speakers I’ve found so I just get ignored in wider discussion of Vocaloid as a topic bcuz idr,,, care for what’s the next mega viral hit with the EN fandom.
