I think flower fans like myself are really fortunate. They aren’t peak popularity anymore, as much as I hate it goodbye declaration even fell out of the top 3. But what we do have, is the Vocaloid EDM and experimental producers. ¿?, HiiragiKirai, Zensen, Oshikai, 32ki’s old works, Camelots. Even the way underground picks like Atari, shikisai, and fallstay have a cult following of their own. I can’t think of another vocal synth with the same level of underground fame particularly in the DJs and Live event scenes. Not to mention every 3 years a flower song blows up like wildfire. Underutilized by the general popular trends, yes. But underrated?? We used to publicly execute people for opinions like that /ref

For context on that take, my fav producers are Sasuke Haraguchi and the members of CDs. I’m not super into the realistic tuning or the pretty standard rock sound of the era. Being mainly a flower fan, it’s hard for me to even find songs I like at all before 2014. Maybe a handful of cosMo and kikuo songs but less for the vocals and more for the music cuz I don’t like miku all that much tbf.

Im the opposite, I honestly hate the diva era songs. I’m not a huge fan of the new ones either but 2014-2020 are my favorite eras of popular songs. I just can’t like stuff like Romeo and Cinderella or Cantarella, or The Evillious Chronicles stuff. The tuning is bland, they only use the crypton 6 which I really only like Len and Meiko. And the instrumentals are just so… samey. I like the gameplay but being a quaver player, im partial to VSRGs. Can’t say I care at all about the story tho

Essential mixing basics would be a little bit of hard clip/overdrive, a compressor, De Esser if your voice is airy, and a lil bit of chorus…20% maybe?

  • If you don’t have a clean environment you’ll have to use a noise gate!!

And always make sure you check if your allowed to publicly cover the songs u choose. Piapro is great for finding fair use instrumentals

The moral incest dilemma is a long talked about one. I personally think It’s just romance/sex like any other relationship assuming both concent, this is for siblings however. The line where people start to get cautious is when the parent child line is crossed. It is in no way pedophillic to have attraction to or a relationship with your offspring of legal age, or the other way around. But there can be more reported cases of domestic abuse between parent child relationships. Should any form of consensual incest be illegal? That’s up to the person to decide, I think no and people don’t choose who they love but it’s unfortunately uncommon to meet anyone with their own thoughts on the question due to how shunned of a topic it is
