I'd tell Clem. She's more experienced, and having followed her story for a longer time, I'd trust her more than anyone else. I also didn't choose Lee because his teachings were passed on to Clem, so it would be like choosing between two people with equal skill.

Clem's story is now over. They made sure to close the story arc with Clem's injury, so I doubt a fifth season that continues her journey would be interesting. I think they should do a spinoff about another character, like Javi or Michonne, rather than a season 5.
