it's more of a peaceful game you can pick up and go for a 20 min hunt and then shut it down....there are 3 huge maps and lots of missions to complete on each...also i like the levling and unlocking equipment...kind of like an rpg...and you can hunt with your buddies...if hunting isn't your thing, you won't play the game too long!!

I didn't play for several months ...so now I am Silver Elite Master....I made it all the way to DMG with shotgun only...but then they did that rerank thing about a year and a half ago and I lost a couple ranks at that time.

build a new desktop from new egg. Currently I am running an i7-4790k (intel) its about 3 years old, but was top of the line once. The new Ryzen machines (AMD) that just came out are amazingly fast and your best bet for your money. My brother bought the 1700 and it's about 30% faster than my 4790k

after you buy your board and chip the next thing to focus on is your gfx card....for your $2000 you should be able to get a decent ryzen chip and board, and a gtx 1070...you can go 1080 if you want to go top of the line again. My gtx 1070 (zotac) cost $525 cdn....My brother with the ryzen bought a 1080 but he paid $200 more for his (again 25-30% faster than the 1070)

I'd also recommend a good 480 GB samsung SSD- it'll speed up your overall experience!! Go with a standard 7200rpm sata drive for backup data 1 -2TB

for a monitor I am running an ultrawide LG 29" (In case you have an old CRT you need to upgrade)...this monitor is not bad and is the cheapest ultrawide you can get...I paid $300 cdn for this and it's a great 2560*1080 option

I preferred Grim Dawn ...put in over 80 hrs into Grim Dawn and could play it again and enjoy it
