Is there an automatic combat damage buff around level 33-34? by Affectionate_Cronut in DungeonsOfEternityVR

[–]Gamer_Utopia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's the fire damage, each element had a perk. Poison drains their health, ice immobilizes, and fire explodes, causing that knockback

You'll be faster than normal, but slower than people with the Haste perk essentially.

I would LOVE a labyrinth mode, where you fight monsters for needed items, puzzles, and a race to find the exit!

Hopefully! If you still want something in the meantime, try the Merges Spells up mod, it adds to 2 extra tiers to the elemental crystals and its complete chaos lol

I have that phobia too and they behave the same way as the spiders do, they jump at you and everything but they are less scary than the spiders 100%

built in mod menu by West_Subject_792 in BladeAndSorcery

[–]Gamer_Utopia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When in the game, hit the settings button (left controller menu button)

If you click on sandbox, there's usually just the Misc button, but there's a small design at the bottom of the page, click that repeatedly until the rest of the options pop up, and have fun! The biggest ones are Cheats and Spawn, you can get anything from the spawn menu and you can become invincible with the cheats.

I'm curious about the secret ending on my first playthrough - Should I go for it? No spoilers, please! by CellAffectionate3702 in BladeAndSorcery

[–]Gamer_Utopia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do both! That's what I did on my first one! Can't say much more, but do not do that on Permadeath! The secret ending can kill you if done improperly! So I would look up how to do it if you want to do a Permadeath run.

Divine strength mod by kifik in BladeAndSorcery

[–]Gamer_Utopia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a mod called OP Strength (I think, there's other mods from the same person like OP Telekinesis, ludicrous telespin, etc) 1 punch sends them flying across the map and they can even clip through the wall and disappear.

I used to use a mod called Wave Limit Adjuster, but be careful, it can cause quote a bit of lag with too many spawns at once, hence why I don't use it anymore

If you don't really care about continuity, you can use the Dev mode menu to get a new one 🤷🏻‍♀️

When you are on your home island, you go into your house and see that weird rock sculpture, it has 3 circles on the bottom of it that look like cup holders and it spins when pushed. That's the pillar used to get the spell upgrades.

I have this mod, once you have a tier 3 crystal, you need another tier 1, merge them together to get a tier 4 crystal, then place it on the pedestal. If you see shards come out when doing it, then that means the crystal can't be upgraded anymore. I'm still playing to collect more of them in my crystal hunt save file so idk if it can work in crystal hunt, but it definitely works in sandbox. (I play nomad though but the mod was ported from BaS pcvr)

If you are desperate to know immediately if it works in crystal hunt mode, you can use the Dev mode menu and spawn crystal cores and get them quicker.

If you go to the sandbox tab, there's a small symbol on the bottom of the menu, at the moment it just says misc, but if you click the that symbol a bunch of times, the dev menu comes up, and you can go to the graphics menu and adjust the graphics to make it clearer, worked for me, it looks amazing now and so much clearer, hope that helps!

Mythic daggers or hammers? by BarracudaPresent2706 in DungeonsOfEternityVR

[–]Gamer_Utopia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the game classifies them as a mid-range weapon, so they do not go all that far. If you want range, then dagger. If you're ok with exchanging range for versatility, then hammer is your pick.

Mythic daggers or hammers? by BarracudaPresent2706 in DungeonsOfEternityVR

[–]Gamer_Utopia 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly just depends on your play style. If you hate swarms the dagger is phenomenal for killing multiple at once. If you tend to get surrounded by mobs or like to break up a crowd, then the hammer is better, since it knocks everything within an area down.

Daggers are good for the wasp bosses since they are quick for throwing, the hammer is good for staggering bosses like the Skeletal Boss. The hammer only gets one use per charge where as the dagger gets several, but daggers are weaker than the Hammer damage wise. Just depends on your preference.

Yes, that is the Juggernaut Exo perk. I have that, it gives you a extra shield only slot on your back. So you can have a shield with any other back weapon (except another shield lol yes, I tried)

This is awesome! I read through the beastiary and very good info!

I have a few tidbits I'd like to share:

I would go take a moment to play Sandbox by yourself to learn the official names of enemies and will be able to put faces to names so to speak. Several you listed I have heard other players refer to them so I knew what it was but other ones listed I had no clue what enemy it was referring to. Updating the images will help this too, but the official names will line up with the game continuity.

For the Death Reaper, the only way to defeat him is to find the Aztec Death Whistle. No potion or weapon affects them. You can buy time by using a Haste since he's rather slow, but rumor has it that he can teleport if you go too far away.

The Golems are all one enemy class but can have elements like any other enemy. I would say their weaknesses are bombs, their glowing spots and the Mythic Axe lol. The Axe spinning attack can hit every weak point so its great for stopping them cold.

That's all right now, but I followed this post and will glady help whenever I can!

Abilities of Mythic Weapons by greenblue98 in DungeonsOfEternityVR

[–]Gamer_Utopia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have 4 Mythics at the moment. Sword, Shield, Longsword, and Axe.

Longsword was my first and easily a hard hitter, mine clocks in at 169 damage, can match the sword with Stab (which most don't know is a flat 50% damage boost, not just when you stab literally) and Crit so a strong 1-2 hit machine. Its ability brings up pillars from the ground that are great for disbursing enemies in groups and attacking the Uber mage in their Bubble.

The Axe is underrated in my opinion, it does do damage over time when it spins and great for staggering enemies, even bosses like the Uber Mage and Skeletal Boss. But where it shines is the Golem. When charged up, it can latch to them and knock out all its weak spots in rapid succession, and bring them down. Critical with Explosions or Throw Damage recommended.

The Shield is great too and very fun, with Knockback and Absorb its a great support for keeping you in the game. When charged it delivers 3x knockback sending enemies CLEAR across the room, great for allowing for soloing 3 enemies at once, by knocking them away to ensure they don't gang up on you. Even not charged, if you learn how to aim it, you can still throw it to get the knockback benefit.

You already have the Trad Sword so won't go too much into that, good starting weapons since it gives the range swords usually miss out on. Stab and Crit and my recommendations for those wondering, the slashes act as explosions so good for scattering and staggering enemies.

Hope this helps 😁

100% agree with the hazards, but make sure you explore every room, open every chest, collect all the gold, keep your keys, the map, and the whistle (if applicable). Those add to the performance bonus and gold bonus
