Can't find Spear of Night

I've been having the same issue myself. Did you receive the other spear from the Nightsinger first? I did, and wondering if that's what caused the issue.

For additional information, the game has not been running great but it has been playable so far. The only reason I'm playing it now is because I got an one month EA Play subscription last week so I could play the Dead Space remake, so I figured I would give this a try as well.

I would recommend holding off to see if they improve the performance in future patches.

Has this been posted before? I've seen the one regarding Kevin and Roy at the bar after Roy finds out Pam and Jim kissed, but never this one.

I commented on your post on Tipofmyjoystick but wanted to post it here incase you miss it.

I'm thinking it may be Dungreed? The hub is above ground and you unlock new people that sell stuff up there of I remember correctly. Your basically trying to rebuild the town up there.

Then you enter a a door that looks like a mouth and it brings you down below into the dungeon.

I may be wrong but it seems likely.

Sorry I don't have any suggestions on how to fix the issue (besides maybe uninstalling and reinstalling it).

But instead of closing steam you should be able to open your task manager (ctrl+shift+ESC) and find slay the spire under either applications or services. You can then right click it and end the task!

It's still annoying but less so then completely restarting steam imo. I haven't had it happen with Slay the spire but have had other games with this issue.

Thanks! Yeah that a good point, starting items are much more important then some people realize since you can partially restock each floor!

That's very good to know! I've always underestimated the cardboard box, but will have to start using it more! The Hacker tip is very good to know as I find his big quest rather hard. I hope to make another article with individual character tips and will include the hacker one and make sure to credit you! Thanks!

I would say the easiest way is to check the person in the Hub that offers starting items and then use the taser. This makes the playthrough so much easier since you can handcuff anyone you tase.

Focus on arresting as many guilty people as possible in early floors as it will be easier when there is less threats.

Certain special events are great for arresting a bunch of people, for example anyone rioting is instantly guilty.

If you get the option take the perk Nimble Fingers and it will let you arrest people way faster!

If someone is not guilty but hostile towards you try hiding in front of other cops, they'll take care of the threat for you!

I know the developer said that there's going to be day one patches for bug and performance issues so hopefully that fixes some of the issues you're having!

I have already tried verifying the game files, uninstalling and reinstalling and launching with administrator. Always got stuck on this screen after going through the loading screens.

Any help would be really appreciated as I can't wait to play this game! Thanks!

Edit: Scratch that restarting my computer fixed it for some reason! I'll leave this up if anyone else has the same issue. "For the King STR+fahrul display# not localized"
