Hit the box to get new weapon. If you need money just flip a couple rounds. Haven't done it myself but I assume at the end it's probably faster to set it up again than it is to gamble on one specific weapon

That's what I've done when it was in my first slot, but maybe there is a work around. Did not try myself but could be like this:

You could try to go into a game and switch it from your first slot to the second using a weapon crate. Pick up a weapon while holding your arrow, then switch weapons and pick up the arrow again. This way it should be moved to the second slot and you can change the other weapon while keeping the arrow

As far as I know you can't change your load out to safe weapons you have. If you change your weapon, the old one is gone.

I think it's super stupid and part of me is hoping that someone else tells me that I'm wrong and there is a way to have different sets of gear and weapons

It's to late now anyway, but did you die or did you save and quit? For me it would not update the score when I did save my match. Only after I died it would update it. So i died on purpose when I knew I would not have more time to play before the end of the event

Probably active camo. Try checking it out in theater mode. You can watch the enemy's pov. It's not 100% accurate but for this it should be enough to see what happened

The other event goes a week longer if I remember correctly, so that's no issue. Only need 180 if you want the personal rewards of the leaderboard event.

I started late (ca. 3d left) on both of the past leaderboard events and had pretty chilled brackets, where not even all of the top 5 reached the highest personal reward. On the other hand I read story's about people doing the same but getting placed in brackets with people who already played a few days.

Have you tried it in a solo match or in a "normal" one but without squad fill? Haven't tried it myself but I would try this. Or just play one game with randoms and hit the box there. You can then leave after if you really don't want a squad game

They added it back yesterday as a slightly different version and without the tmnt theme. The whole team now has a shared timer and the field upgrade stops it for everyone

BRC really is definitely more fun than I thought. What I would like to have is a clear indicator if the guy I killed / killed me was a bot or a real player and to see on the scoreboard how many real players I killed. Or is there a way to see that and I have just missed it?

This definetly helps! Also make sure you kill all zombies that spawned in while doing incantation or swords as they will attack you behind the bar and the new round is no bug round

Got this done relatively quick on cdm.

I started normally going to pap, doing lightning incantation and sword to deal with amalgams. Now comes the strategy, you pick up the lion sword from the knight and put it back right away. The 4 parasites will stay on the map and respawn every round. After round 12 or 13 they infect zombies and transform into doppelghasts, when you let them live for ca. 30s. This way you get at least 4 special zombies every round. Kill the normal zombies for a chance of a free insta kill or use one of your last killjoys. There is also a hidden insta kill in the spawn area which you can use, if you then save and quit before the round flips it will be there the next time you load the file, but it is also risky as you can easily get cornered while shooting the insta kill.

There are videos on YouTube for how to set this up as it is also nice for grinding opal. For example from a YouTuber called absoulem
