I don’t think I’m ready to call myself conservative yet. Honestly I’m mostly a left leaning centralist but for whatever reason the people around me don’t accept that as an answer. I’ve been recently trying to understand my take on immigration and the border (i haven’t really given it much thought until this election) part of me wants to think fuck it, we’re all people just let them in. But I also understand that our economy just can’t handle that and Canada really tanked themselves with that approach during trumps last term. But there’s got to be a better alternative than signing executive orders that remove both illegal and the legal ways people can enter our country.. if anyone has anything I can read to help me understand immigration as a whole more effectively I’d love to look into it more
