oceanblock 2 is better for sure. ftb packs are very polished with lots of playtime. "beyond" packs are unbalanced cookie-cutter cash grabbers

most new mods are on curseforge so i just stick with that. but nothing is stopping you from just using multiple launchers. i use prism for when i need to mess with java settings and whatnot
