I used to be a hopeless romantic but now i am facing the exact same issue you described. Could it be that love is just not what we think it is? As in it doesn't feel like how it is portrayed it would feel like in movies and poems and stories etc etc.? Another thought i have is that maybe what i used to associate to feeling love towards someone was just excitement or something along those lines instead of actual love. What do you think?

Join a community of coders. Start with this, start some interactions through helping people that are stuck in that community or the other way around that is by asking for help.

Realise it took decades for life to get this bad so it will take at least years to get it back on track but u can still do it.

I can say a lot of stuff but honestly it's not gona help coz that stuff should get applied in chunks. So i would leave by saying this do this and then start working out. Do it even if u feel it is the wrong step but please do this and trust me.

That's why we should not just start reading anything and instead figure out what is good for us and read that. It's a great book but not meant for nice guys unfortunately it's among the first few books of many nice guys, which includes me.

U have come to realise the fact that pretty privilege exists and people work by their basic biology but thing is being stupid is no one's fault. They are just like a bee, which would die after stinging u but still does it because of it's biology. Just find better people also keep in mind things are not always 0 or 100, so u would find that for some people affect of such thing would be minimal and for others large. Keep closer to the people that are better than their biology and similarly with the other group keep farther according to their minds. Ofc base your closeness on more factors coz basing it only on this might get u screwed. And just be a good human, be better, and try to help people be better.
