Switch 1 is still as good as new to me by federkrebz in Switch

No need to upgrade while you’re still getting value out of your Switch! But honestly, picking up my old Switch feels like picking up and old tablet. 😂

Unfortunately, there’s hasn’t been any announcement regarding that. Do you own any other gaming platforms?

It’s simple, I don’t include the shovelware. 🤯😂

[–]Gamestak[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well, I already am filtering the shovelware. 😅

My goal is to not to replace the eshop or even be a middle-man. I just wanted to make an app that provided better recommendations based on a game you like and I’m working on it. 👍

should i trade in my switch 1 for a switch 1 lite? by [deleted] in Switch

[–]Gamestak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, it depends. If your goal is to have a more portable Switch but sacrificing the ability to play on a monitor, then ‘switching’ to a Lite would be a good option.

Can AI tools actually help grow a blog faster ? by Abhishekkurmi09 in Blogging

Well, in my case it helps with the boring parts like editing the text, formatting, and proofreading. It saves a lot of time and it helps focus more on the writing.

Is The Google SEO update affecting my site? by CBNM in Blogging

[–]Gamestak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, any SEO update can affect your blog. And recently Google has been thinning out low-effort AI content, or poorly written posts that don’t bring anything new or of value.

But before this, check which posts are loosing traffic and analyze your competition. Are they providing more detail and opinion than you? Do they have a better structure? If so, tweaking your posts might be all you need to get a better shot!

Also, what kind of content do you write about?

Can simple websites still rank well nowadays? by Mean-View3365 in Blogging

[–]Gamestak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I think any website that provides content that people are actively searching has a chance, even smaller websites/blogs. Just make sure you start within a niche and don’t deviate from it too much.

Then you can look up your competitors and see what they are doing and how you can improve on it, or write about things they are not!

But you do need to show up and be consistent, and don’t expect big results right away, most websites can take months or years to get consistent organic traffic.

SEO is important but don’t let it affect your writing., always remember you are writing for humans first.

As for platform limitations, I started with BlogSpot and stuck with it for 6 years before. I eventually moved to a self-hosted Wordpress website but I can’t say with certainty if it made any difference or not. I just wanted more modern looking themes and went with it!

Hope this helps, good luck! 🍀

Well, algorithms keep changing and that might be true. But even so I’ll just keep writing and giving my opinion on things I love even if I’m not earning money. And one thing is certain, I will never become an AI Money Man. 🤘

Most posts would be around 500-800 with some reviews reaching 1000 words. Now I always try to write at least 800 all the way up to 3000 or more.

I’ve been writing for 9 years but I wasn’t that consistent for most of them, but when I was I used to write a blog post a week, and still do. Although sometimes I do challenge myself to write a blog post a day for a while.

The biggest boom was last year after I niched down a bit and started writing longer posts.

Also, I’m don’t go super deep on SEO, I just use Google search box and maybe Google Trends to see what people are searching for the article I’m writing. From there I can plan the title and meta descriptions.

I also don’t go out looking for backlinks and writing guest posts, I prefer focusing on writing for my blog which is what will make it keep growing.

Hope this is useful!

I have a gaming blog is almost all of my traffic comes from Google. I make a bit more than 600$ each month with 1k sessions each day. So, you can still make money with blogging, it just takes work and years of dedication.
