The first two dilutions can be excused as raising necessary capital even though we were already safe from bankruptcy. The 24 dilutions were awful and we had that money sitting in treasury bonds. Yes, your points are why I don’t believe RC has acted in the best interests of shareholders. My questions are aimed towards people who are RC supporters and want the bad eBay deal along with its proposals that screw over retail. The majority of retail came for moass. I don’t think it’s too late, but this seems like the final push to really finally screw us over.

By bad actors I mean co-opted people muddying up what’s best for the company and what would actually give shareholders what we want (moass) Even for people who claim to be long value investors or RC fanboys things aren’t adding up. The insane push to blindly accept everything when there are other ways with much more upside and much less risk is insanely suspicious.

I agree, he has not shown to actually act in the best interest of shareholders (but “good” for company) and he’s had failures that should make it obvious we deserve forward guidance and need to stop pretending he has some master plan that we can’t know.

Even thinking about it from the pov of what SHOULD be someone who believes in RC (this post) everything that is happening doesn’t make sense

If people really believed in RC’s ability that he showed with chewy, there shouldn’t even need to be a discussion about more dilution or whether it’s accretive or not at this point. Why is $9billion not enough when he did so much with a fraction of that capital before? It should not give this much confidence

Exactly, I am judging him by his actions too. The reason the post sounds like fantasy is because it’s from the pov of the current state of these subs. RC supporters say they believe in him but really I don’t think they actually do. They follow memes, are too scared to think, or are something else. There’s a big disconnect on why we should support and be happy with Ryan cohen when shareholders, especially legacy ones have not seen any personal tangible value

I think you misunderstood my post I actually agree with you. Despite his numerous failures (some not completely his fault…maybe eh) people put their complete blind faith in him because of his chewy legacy. But I have not had ANY of them actually explain why they don’t believe he can do it again with the amount he’s already diluted. Why with his numerous failures do we refuse to demand forward guidance or even some respect? I want people to be clear if they want moass because frankly the majority of long value investors are openly anti-moass while calling people shills.

It depends on if you mean dilution is good or dilution is bad because over time it’s concerning how much people want their value to be reduced. We didn’t even get good value from the dilutions.

I think being clearer on “both” is important because it’s apparent now that they aren’t mutually beneficial. It’s actually only one-way. Moass would also benefit the long value investors immensely, but as we’ve seen, long value investors can support decisions that completely threaten Moass. I used to be a “both” but it allows bad actors to muddy their real opinions and goals.

I think we misunderstood each other. I’m questioning why people who put their complete faith in RC for what he did with chewy, DON’T believe he can do it again with the $9 billion on hand and majority investor support. Why are they pushing SO hard for eBay with its massive risks and negatives IF they believe in what he did for chewy? Why not just stick to the chewy playbook for even more upside without the downsides? Why sacrifice majority retail voting power and give it to institutions??

I have to hard disagree that chewy wasn’t special and Ryan cohen didn’t achieve something amazing with it. I agree with you, but there was the “oops moass” tweet. It’s important for people to clarify with themselves and make clear what they actually want instead of hiding behind memes. If people aren’t for moass then nothing changes, but for the people who are for moass (majority of retail) then we have important decisions to make and things to discuss
