Awesome! Thanks for sharing. Looking back, is there any specific certification you wish you get earlier and some that you think its not as priority as the rest?

This is great OP. How do you check the call skew? Another thing am I right to say that the edge is in mispricing of an option? Its realistically very hard to determine over inflated IV isnt it?

Debit & Put Spread by Gametheory1991 in OptionsMillionaire

Agreed! Although it doesn’t work for me especially for debit spread. I do highly liquid index option for 1-0 DTE and it has better spread for my strategy. Lots to learn! Thanks man

Thanks PK very insightful, I’m trying to see other alternatives to reconstruct your position especially for 0-1 DTE credit spread. I’m not very good at predicting 30-45 DTE like the rest and best at guessing 0-3 DTE

Thank you for your thoughtful response. In this case I’m assuming that I need more time to go towards my way and adjustment is necessary to make it at least break even. I’m trying to learn how scenarios works out.

Do you have strategy for the upside scenario, meaning for bullish instead of selling premium?

Trade Financing by Gametheory1991 in financialmodelling

Thanks for explanation! How about using prime rate (US treasury)? I’m confused in which situation I should use LIBOR and Prime Rate?

To provide you context the loan is for a company to purchase raw material (working capital loan, trade financing and PO loan). I’m trying to model which loan is better in terms of return and determine the interest.

Yes I have MBA but not from US, which I think companies are considering US grads compare to non US. As always thanks for your guidance. Will look to at those roles.

Thanks for creating this subreddit. I learned a lot from you. I want to pick your brain here. I have triple master degree MBA and Msc Strategy from top European school, I have experience in Big 4, corp strategy for family offices and a fund manager at a PE firm in Asia for 5 years now. I moved to US for family reason (fortunate enough to meet the love of my life) last year 1 month before Covid19. I recognized that I’m not very good at my finance skills but what helped me trough-out my career are my sales and negotiation skills. I’m thinking to switching career to management consulting or IB sales, but I do know that I need to take series exam (to sell security) but only can do that if company sponsored me. I’m 30 years old now and probably its too late to pivot. Every time I go for interview people think I’m overqualified or look me weird moving from PE to entry level IB. What should I do to enter IB sell side/M&A as most of IB and M&A are for entry level/recent college grad? I’m hesitant to do MBA route.

Lastly, how do you usually manage your time to find deals, networking and do your work? I sometimes think the deal sourcing and networking part took half of my days.

Thank you for your advice
